Abby knocked it out of the park with both of her recommendations that were not on the menu. Don’t hesitate and waste your time somewhere else. This hidden gem is something worth coming back for. Not only were the suggestions great, she saved me from google maps suggesting a 50 minute walk to the Metra that should take 10-20.

Fantastic little coffee shop with very reasonable prices! Came around Christmas and had a peppermint bark mocha latte. It was quite tasty. My husband had the chai tea (his drink of choice at coffee shops) and said it topped the list of best chai teas he’s ever had! It was perfectly spiced. Also tried the “Boozy Boar” breakfast sandwich. Definitely the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had at a coffee shop! I think it’s a seasonal special, but should be added to their permanent menu. Delicious!!

Stopped in last Saturday after a 40-mile bike ride to get refueled and enjoy a cup of coffee on a coolish morning. The 12oz Columbian decaf was delicious. The Scrambowl was disappointing and embarrassing. This option comes with 2 eggs, cheese, choice of meat, and avacado. I am vegetarian and omitted the meat. I did not ask for a price adjustment. This is served in a small paper cup or VERY tiny bowl, hence the name, the egg was obviously microwaved as it was tough and green inside, the cheese was a couple of melted strings and basically nonexistent, not even a taste of cheese, and the avocado slices were underripe. The total bill was $6 and change. I was shocked that they charged $4.25 for subpar eggs in a cup. I did, however, get 5 dinner-quality napkins in my takeout bag! I guess they feel comfortable over charging for low quality when they are the only breakfast/coffee joint in town. Prepare to wait if you are in a hurry to grab n go. Not on their agenda and they seemed well staffed unlike many establishments these days. They will need to step up their game for me to return.

Our Job relocated to Maple Park a year ago. It took me a whole year to find a place for us to get lunch, Well, I found this gem of a place. From the wraps to the salads to the GRILL CHEESE is so delicious. I give this charming quality food place 10stars!! I just had the chicken and rice soup which cause me to write a review..
