Pier 76 Fish Grill

New location started in long beach The long beach location is a bit bigger and has beer. Clean and well kept Food is super yummy Menu is good and simple. Fish is fresh and well done . Parking is crazy forget about parking take an uber Super good location Great for date night or family fun Alfresco dining experience is offered on patio. Semi automatic table service offered here. Kinda confusing when or how much to tip the staff. There is much staff waiting or delivering items to the table.

If you want great food and you like fish. Pier 76 Fish Grill is the place! It's not just the fish but it's the way that it is prepared. The standard sides are gone. The Brussels Sprout and Kale is amazing! I had the charred shrimp with hummus that was amazing. I went to the Long Beach location a while back but I wasn't impressed. Whatever they have done, it works. My wife had the sea bass and if she says it's good, believe me, it's good! One of the pickiest eaters I know. Nothing gets passed her taste buds. Very clean place and the staff fantastic. I hope it remains this way. Most of the time, when you go back, you're not proud that you gave a 5 star rating. Hopefully, it stays the same. Creative ideas are always welcomed!

Pier 76 is a great place to grab lunch. The line was out the door, but it moved very quickly. The food also arrived very quickly after ordering and paying at the front counter. My office is in the area and I was able to conveniently walk over with a colleague. I had the Poke Bowl. It was a very simple meal, but quite delicious. It didn't have all the different items a typical poke restaurant would have, but it was good. Service was very fast. My colleague had the Fish & Chips and that arrived shortly after mine did. Impressive, as mine was served cold and his was freshly fried.

Would not visit again for several reasons. Food wasn't bad, but I won't be rushing back anytime soon. Service was attentive but kurt. When asked what kind of fish was in the grilled fish sandwich I was given a response that I couldn't understand even after having it repeated. I thought she said "soy" which didn't make sense and she said that it wasn't it. In hindsight I think she was trying to say "swai" which I would have avoided due to its low quality and generally bad reviews. Restaurant also could have been cleaner... Table sign had food remnants, trash on floor and I witnessed two tables being cleared that were not wiped down. Overall not a recommendation and disappointing.

GREAT FOOD & AMAZING PRICES! I just ordered for the first time using Grubhub & it is now our new favorite seafood restaurant. I was worried the portions were going to be tiny or the quality sub-par because the prices were so low but the food was amazing & the portions were huge! The fish & chips meal I ordered that would be $18-$22 anywhere else was only $10 at Pier 76. The fish was light & flaky and the beer batter was perfect, crispy but tender (No uncooked batter mush anywhere) and it didn’t soggy at all from the steam & condensation accumulated in the packaging during delivery. We will definitely be adding Pier 76 to our favorites list!
