Food was good. Complementary chips and salsa was awesome. They took a little longer time to prepare the food after order but in mean time we enjoyed complementary chips and salsa. I ordered tamale and enchilada which was good but the plate was very hot. I guess they put entire plate in oven after adding cheese. The plate was so hot that I took longer time to finish my food where my other colleagues were finished early. I would say cleanliness and lighting could have been a little better.

One of the best enchiladas I ever ate. Not from Los Angeles but if I ever return I'll definitely visit this restaurant again. Highly recommended. The staff is great prices are good.

Good chips and salsa! Can't say my wet burrito was worth mentioning though... Expensive for what I got, the daily specials might be the way to go. Much better options in the area. Especially across the street. I'm from East LA, this is some boring Mexican food.

They have been at that location for 40 years that I know of. I always stop there for take out, this is maybe the second time I dined in. The food was excellent, I had a chile relleno, tamale combo plate and it was pne of the best I've had in a long time. I really liked that they used mole for the red sauce. The manager seemed nice when he checked on how we were doing. I'll be going back again.

Great food, large portion & price is reasonable. So far everything I tried tasted great. Place gets really crowded so we normally gets here within an hour after they opened. This is my 7th year coming to this location, drove 37 miles for brunch today. I was recommended by a person who's been coming here for almost 40 years, lol!!! My favorite are their fish & shrimps soup, tostada chips & salsa. Please check their daily specials.
