The Pizza Joint

I had my first opportunity to be a customer of The Pizza Joint. I had a slice of all meat pizza and an order of chicken wings. If you’re like me, don’t be too reluctant to ask that either or both are cooked a little more well done. Mine were, and they were outstanding! I also had an opportunity to meet both the owner and her general manager. Both ladies were very personable and genuinely interested in engaging with their customer and I felt this was a refreshing change to the indifference you find at so many other restaurants. I’m disappointing that I don’t see my getting back to Elpaso on my current schedule, but if I’m ever in Elpaso I will be back at The Pizza Joint.

I haven't ordered from this location in a while. I phoned in an order to go. I was pleasantly greeted, upon entering the building, by a young blonde female employee; possibly a manager. She was very friendly and assured my order was about to come out, I got there earlier than I anticipated. Pizza was excellent, full of harmonious flavors and fresh. I was happy they still sold those big chocolate chip cookies. I absolutely had to order one for dessert! Although, I kinda wish the cookie was cut into slices like the pizza. We had to rip chunks out of it as we ate it, because we didn't have a knife in the car. (We were road tripping to far east El Paso and planned to eat while on the move...)
