Lucky Cafe

We had a great breakfast at Lucky Cafe. I had Eggs Divorciado which was so good and Jo Ann had the huevo y picadillo -nice! our waitress was Adriana who was not only efficient but such a warm and understanding person and we were really "lucky" since it was 9am on a sunday to get such a great waitress. hope to get to eat there on the way back.

This gem of a corner restaurant has stood the test of time ! As I've grown older and eaten plenty of food at this establishment. It's great tasting food has never changed they only keep getting better. The same great smells and jolly atmosphere are what keeps me and my family coming here time and time again. As you enter your greeted with the warmest smiles and smell of great dishes being prepared. When you get to this corner restaurant you'll see and have plenty of seating in front of the serving line and various booths to accommodate your family. The various servers will be handing your parties menus and taking your meal orders. Then as you wait for your great tasting food they will treat you with an appetizing chips and salsa to get your taste buds rolling as your main dishes are being prepared. We arrived early and in no time we were greeted with a hot cup of coffee and chips and salsa. As my taste buds were being tantalized with a great tasting appetizer the chef is busy whipping up my hot hamburger steak and eggs dish while my party is waiting on their fresh bowl of hot Menudo with its famous " Pata de Res " . It's soft tripe and warm hominy fill my parties bellies and my hamburger steak and eggs are disappearing right into my belly. Its constant beverage fill ups are always welcoming. While I'm enjoying my great tasting food our table server greets you with a warm smile and checks to see if you're doing fine and needing anything to satisfy your appetite. And if you're "Lucky" enough this older gentlemen will arrive at your party's table to serenade your family and patrons with his astonishing guitar playing and warm harmonious voice . They have plenty of menu options for your younger guests.
