Pretty good. Only eat here on Tuesdays for their $5 combos. Otherwise, a bit pricey for the size. Wanted the cherry pie, but they had ran out. Had the pineapple one. It was good. But not as good as the cherry. Next time.

Whenever we are in El Paso, we have to go to Charcoalers, ever since I was a kid, in my 50s now, I loved going there. My favorite thing to eat is the grilled hot dog sandwich, I am not a fan of hot dogs, but I could eat them all day long. I also can't get enough of their pineapple pies, it always takes me back to my childhood.

Service is consistent for every visit. Their burger's unique charcoal taste is matched by no one. Their charferno burger with their ghost chili cheese could be a lot spicier. Unfortunately their jalapenos and green chili are much spicier than than the cheese. The burger is still tasty but obtaining a spicier cheese would really elevate the burger beyond its gimmick cheese and make it a unique item.

Great experience! Well worth the small challenge of getting to them. I parked in back and walked around. I always ask for extra BBQ sauce on my burgers. Best onion rings in El Paso in my opinion. I’ve been eating Charcoaler since Mr. Robert Cox Sr. owned the store on Mesa. I’m so glad they opened a store on this side of town.

Great food, got the veggie burger and frys my lady got a normal charcoal burger with onion rings, unique taste we must say and same with the frys you really do taste the charcoal and food is made to order so it's super fresh. Great environment we ate here after the Jones brothers youth skill camp for football was a nice meal after a long day in the sun.

Best onion rings in town! Burgers were great. The pies were full of fruit, unlike I have had at other places. The restaurant was very clean. You can eat like a king here for not a lot of money.

I am so glad we got a Charcoaler on the east side, plus it's right around the corner from where I work! I absolutely love the burgers here, and the onion rings are the best I've ever had. Sorry, I don't know about the fries as I've never had them! Highly recommended.

I hadn't been since I was a kid, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Cashier recommended a couple of options, and I was very happy with #9. Hamburger with BBQ, pickles, onions, jalapeno, cheese and green chili. Patty was small, but all the toppings made up for it. Fries were fresh and crispy. I really enjoyed my meal. I would definitely go back.

Get a double if you are hungry. The hamburger is about the size of a Big Mac. The hamburger has a delicious charbroiled taste. Barbeque is the standard condiment. The onion rings are large and wide with a thin crispy skin.
