Wings were good but the place was a bit run down. It's not the same how it was 2+years ago.

Angel Alvarez is a disgruntled ex-employee. I am currently the Assistant manager here at Wing it on Zaragoza, our previous Assistant manager left in September. All of our food is fresh and cooked to order, we only order top quality produce, at all 3 of our locations, Weekly maintenance is also a priority at all 3 of our locations to ensure a healthy and clean environment for the customers. The statement made about roaches in the ice machine is false. We appreciate our customers feedback but we do not condone lies from previous employees. Thank you

I'll be fully honest here: the wife and I have always bought from a competitor and have done so for the past 2 years. Today we decided to heed to our friend's recommendation and try Wing It. We ordered a family pack to go that consisted of their Famous Hot, Gold Wings, and Lemon Pepper (all boneless). They were accompanied by two sides of fries and some veggie sticks. The taste of all these wings were absolutely incredible. So much so that I do believe we'll be ordering from Wing It again. And again. The texture of the wings was complex. The outside was slightly soggy, having absorbed some of the sauce they were tossed in. However, the inside of the breading was surprisingly crispy. The chicken itself was moist and flavorful - it didn't taste processed at all and my wife (a daily meal-crafter) mentioned that they had cooked the chicken just right. The pieces were quite large, too. So large, in fact, that they barely fit into the ranch dipping cup. As a matter of fact, I had to actually drizzle one of my pieces because it just didn't fit. Needless to say, these were not nuggets like some other places sell. As for the flavors, the Famous Hot is alright. There really isn't anything major that sets it apart from the various wing restaurants nearby. It does have a distinctive taste, but nothing more. The Lemon Pepper (and yeah, my mouth just watered as I typed that) is finger-licking good. It has just the right amount of seasoning on them. The salt level is right on the money and the wing as a whole was crispy with the perfect level of lemon-sour. Saving the best for last, the Gold Wing flavor was absolutely astonishing. It was a very unique combination of their Famous Hot and I don't know what else, but the sauce itself was very hearty, perfectly bold, and an interesting level of mild-hot - it basically let you know it was there, in your mouth, driving your taste buds wild but not so much that you'd need a follow-up swig of beer or coke or whatever was in your cup. Most places that sell Mild wings lack quite a bit of flavor or kick, but these were exquisitely bold and complex, with a slight creamy consistency. The fries were lightly (emphasis on lightly) seasoned, which worked fine for me but my salt-loving wife felt they were tasteless. They were cooked just enough to where the smaller slivers of potato were crisp and the large, dense cuts were - well - limp. They tasted very fresh. They're fries. That's about as deep as regular fries go. The veggie sticks were plentiful - we got two containers full of them, whereas other locations would've only given one. The celery sticks were very crisp and juicy but about 10 out of the 14 carrot sticks were actually stale. They were crispy still, but the taste told no lies and neither did the smell once you got them up to your nose. They could've really paid a bit more attention to this as serving stale food to a customer is just simply not acceptable. Had it not been for this, I'd have given this place 5 stars, because really, these wings and their flavors were a whole lot more than what I can say about their competitors. Good Job, Wing-It. You've just acquired a new customer who will be faithfully buying from your establishment from now on (just provide *fresh* veggie sticks next time!).
