I don't know why I haven't reviewed Marina's until now, but shame on me. One of my favorite things to do while living in Bayern (Bavaria) was to head down to the local bakery and get lost in the pastries and breads. This is something that in the U.S. is sadly rare though thankfully in this area is quite common and one of the best bakeries is Marinas. If you want to enjoy a German baking perspective here you are. Marina herself is a delight and clearly care and excellence are what drives her. The breads are exceptional and the pastries are to die for. Additionally, if you can't make it to the bakery and have Fort Bliss commissary privileges, her products are in the bread aisle.
This little German bakery just made my move to El Paso 100x better! So delicious!
My family has been a customer of Marina's for 30 years and the food has been delicious. The Black Forrest cake is amazing. Try a roulade slice or one of their fantastic breads.

I love supporting local businesses and this bakery is one of my favorites. I’ve been coming here for years and the quality of food has always been amazing. They have a large verity of breads, cookies and cakes. It’s a great place to go in the morning for some fresh bread or even just to stop by for a nice dessert. Additionally, they have seasonal cookies so it makes a really gift to bring the office or a family party. Overall it’s a wonderful bakery and I recommend it to everyone
First time walking in and it smelled great! There were so many choices and the dessert section looked so amazing but I needed to focus on breakfast pastries. I received great service as I asked questions about fillings. The pastries were delicious and delightfully just sweet enough. I really can't wait to come back for dessert and try those cute traditional cookies.
Superb goods from this gem of a bakery! Went for the first time, and I was very impressed. If you're ever on Trawood, I highly suggest one should stop here for a wonderful treat.
Such a great experience, buying a cheesecake from this bakery! I called Saturday morning on a whim hoping they would have a cheesecake available, and thankfully they did! They even dedicated the cake so beautifully to my sister. Everyone at her celebration loved the cheesecake! Please support this bakery! They’re awesome and the inside of their bakery is decorated so cute as well ❤️
Ordered a small wedding cake and was delighted with it. Great experience overall. Excellent attention to detail, friendly, easy and quick communication, as well as tasty and beautiful work. Thank you, Luis! We accidentally bumped the cake transporting it to the restaurant and I added some flower petals to mask but the cake was gorgeous.
Marina's Bakery is incredible! We got the apple strudel and a giant pretzel. Soft and fresh and sweet. We'll be going back very soon. Check them out.
This is one of my favorite bakeries in El Paso very worth it!! The staff is wonderful great service too their pastries taste so authentic and homemade I’m a big fan of their strawberry cream rolls this pastry literally taste like Häagen-Dazs ice cream but in cake form.I highly recommend this place if your looking for yummy sweets :)
Such a cute and intimate bakery. The employees (Astrid especially!!) are very friendly, patient, and helpful. They had cheesecake, baklava, strudel, macarons, cookies, and so many more different type of pastries. They also had pretzels, bratwursts, and different types of breads. I tried the strudel and it was good but if you're looking for something very sweet, I would try something else, it isn't sweet at all. The Black Forest Cake was FANTASTIC!
When El Paso, we normally purchase our party cakes.from here because they are delicious and everyone enjoys the cake. Today was no different. The cake and pasteries we bought were on point with the family.
The staff is very nice and professional, they make you feel like at home. The pastries are unbelievably delicious and the cake the peach is out of this world. It is so delicious but it's not sweet at the same time oh I can't get enough of it but it's good I highly suggest going there.
