My wife and I ate there for brunch and I must say... this place is a gem and a breath of fresh air! We were treated like family as soon as we came in and they were so excited to see us. It's so refreshing to find a 100% vegan restaurant in El Paso. Our food came out fast and was top notch :) the chef even had us try some new stuff and everything tasted amazing! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. We highly, highly recommend this place and we can't wait to go back
It’s definitely a must try ... you won’t regret it. Vegan or not. The food is amazing!!! The desert’s are delicious !!! I absolutely love this place ❤️❤️❤️
It's small, my date thought it was cramped. Service was prompt and courteous. Sashimi was fresh and well prepared, I had octopus, tuna, salmon and shrimp. It was served on some thin rice noodles and crisp veggie slivers. Also got a spicy roll. She liked the sauce on the roll and it wasn't bad. Forgot what the waiter called it.
This was our first time at Okazuri East. We enjoyed the food we had the Pancho villa roll and banana roll and the squid salad it was very Delicious!!! Our waiter Juan was very welcoming and friendly the wait was a little long but he made us feel comfortable and even brought us a complimentary edamame appetizer! Thank you! We felt the place need's to be well taken care of. The booths are peeling and the pump from the floating sushi river does not work and hasn't worked for over a year that's what we were told. The owner needs to invest in his business and it would be so Much better!
Extravagant sushi. The miso soup has to be my favorite it is delicious! The setting is very relaxed and modern, making it a very enjoyable place to eat and chill. (Very clean) The service is great, they give a welcoming feel and have the food out asap. Very recommended.
The Miso soup was nearly perfect - best I've had in years. I was very disappointed to see fake crab pieces on my combination Nigiri plate. The huge octopus slices were a bit tough, but I expected baby octopus. Otherwise, very fresh, and made to order. Large sushi pieces. I'm not sure that's Kikkoman soy sauce in their Kikkoman branded dispensers. It's a LOT saltier than any Kikkoman I've ever tasted. My guess is it's a cheaper imitation, and they don't think we can taste the difference. Their iced tea was good and dark. Good friendly service, but it was nearly empty (between meals) when I was there. OK atmosphere, a bit small inside, and Spanish music playing vs. anything Japanese. Prices are about normal. They have a $4 Sunday wing special, but I'm not sure what is included. Two TVs in the dining area, both were set on mid-day sitcom re-runs at the time.
