I absolutely adore this cozy little place. The staff is sweet and caring. The food truly exhibits the flavor of El Paso. Whether you are there for a breakfast burrito, or stop by for a quick lunch or dinner you cannot find a flaw in their food.

Not bad!. When I'm not traveling, I have breakfast with a group of men on Thursday mornings at Los Amigos. The food isn't bad but it's not the best either. Our group likes it because the service is good and the waitress that wait's on us is very funny. The prices are good and the owner is very friendly with us and always welcomes us. It's the first place I think of when eating out but it won't be the last place I think of as well. Breakfast is good, not great. I wonder what lunch is like? Try it for an economical breakfast.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is GREAT. The owners are beyond genuine nice and soulful. I ended up getting a soup because I’m passing through on way to California and it was EVERYTHING I needed and then some. I thought it was a bit expensive at first glance (around 10$) but upon receiving it you get what you pay for and then some...essp considering a basic generic chicken noodle soup in Panera Bread is 6$ 1/3rd the size and 1/4th the quality. Also idk what someone meant about too much vegetable and not enough chicken, I must’ve gotten 8 pretty decent sized chunks of chicken and perfect amount of veggies. Awesome place, highly recommend! (apologies for picture, I finished most of it already, it really is a great portion for price)
A jewel of a restaurant in central El Paso. Originally established in the 1920s, this treasure has served El Paso loyally despite of the fire that had occurred last year. Not only is the food and drink perfect to the tee, but the customer service, hospitality, & humor of one individual (Hooky) is unparalleled. Although the exterior is humble looking, I recommend this place to everyone in the area wanting a hearty delicious meal.
The food was fabulous. The waitresses were like super models. They were friendly and attentive. Everyone looks at me along time in ElPaso, since I ain't from here, but that's all me. Cheers

I was looking for a great place to try typical Mexican food and have a memorable experience and AMIGOS was the place!
Just a few minutes from downtown EL PASO TX! A great variety of food in a really cozy place with a really good price!
EFRAIN, the waiter, was so accommodating, really kind and he made sure I was enjoying my dinner in a relaxed and safe place! He suggested me the perfect combination of their specialities! The HOMEMADE GUACAMOLE was just fabulous! The CARAMEL FLAN is an old fashion recipe from Manuel's wife.. the best I ever had; I am not a big fan of flan but I trusted Efrain and I did right.. so yummy!!
MANUEL is the manager, well, no words can describe him: very very nice people and professional at the same time, he intratteined me with his tricks and jokes!!I highly recommend his signature MARGARITA!! I HAD SO MUCH FUN!
He took me for a little tour around the restaurant, where the decor is fantastic and with my surprise I have seen the CLEANEST KITCHEN EVER..
I felt exactly LIKE AT HOME! The bill was so cheap I could Hardly believe it!

Delicious food; some of the best Mexican food I've had since coming to El Paso. On top of that, fantastic service. The staff here treat you like family. I felt like I was being served by my own father. If you're coming by to check out the mural down the street, I highly recommend this place for lunch!
Great place! Delicious food. It's been a while that we've eaten at a local place that's extremely clean with clean/clean hot food. Great service! Food was not greasy. The water was filtered and didn't taste like dirt and chemicals. Which means they change the filter regularly. Met the Owner "Hookey" who showed us around. They have a patio and a party room. He told us that they clean the entire Restaurant from top to bottom every Monday.. Wow this guy really takes pride in his Restaurant and it shows! This place is now on my recommend list!
A small group of seniors gathers monthly for breakfast, but up until now, all the eateries we've gathered at have been too noisy to hear each other talk. Amigos is large enough to accommodate our group in a quiet area of the restaurant. A decent breakfast plate plus coffee runs less than $10.00.
Today we enjoyed a good meal and good conversation!
The food was excellent and the service was exquisite. This is one of those places where you go if you want to enjoy some peace while eating in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The prices are a bit high but the dining experience is well worth it.
The food was really really good. And it really awesome how they were able to accomidate my wife's unfortunate allergy to black pepper. Most places won't go as far as Amigos did. And it was really appreciated. Great food, comfy atmosphere and really nice staff.
