GREAT PLACE. Food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the place seems clean. They offer many specials, went in their Taco Monday and they also had $2.50 Tecate. Definitely will return and will make this a regular place to eat. Very satisfied.

Been going here for over 30 years. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere with lots of history. Wonderful restaurant and a cool sports bar on the side. Plenty of locals to talk to. Tip your servers.

This place has been around for a while so I knew I had to try it. The hostess wasn’t too friendly but our waiter was so he made up for it. The tortilla soup was flavorful, but lacked chicken. The gorditas were very good although my mom thought they were on the spicy side, my five year old was able to eat them however. The Chile rellenos were also very delicious. My sister only had dessert, the churros with ice cream and she was very happy with it. My only complaint and it’s sad because it was the main reason I wanted to try this place: the margaritas. I had been told I needed to try them. So I ordered the Coronarita ($10). The margarita itself had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like a water slushee. Then I added the Corona hoping it would help but it ended up tasting like watered down beer. I was so disappointed. Maybe their other margarita offerings are better. I’ll give them a try some other time. They also have a small bar next door that stays open after the restaurant closes.

The establishment has been around for quite some time. Everything was great, with the exception of the chicken taco. The marinade was not right for me. Mango tea, was delicious. Recommend. Overall, a nice place to eat authentic Mexican food.

I met my sister for lunch and she chose the Riviera. I enjoyed a great meal and left absolutely stuffed. The food tastes fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant. There was plenty of parking and was easy to find. We will probably be back.

Great customer service. Two thumps up 👍👍 Food was great, hot and tasty. Menudo was awesome( based on Fiancé and daughter review). The timing to be seated, waited on, and served was timely and promptly. The quietness of the place was awesome for a Sunday.

Seems like they cranked up the heat just a bit, not one bad way. What we had was a little more spicy than the last time we were here. Everything tasted very good.

An Artist & A Kitchen

Out in the west Texas town of EL Paso, Riviera’s is fossilized into EL Paso’s food history pedigree. Chard fresh table salsa, cooked to order deliciousness arrives on a food cart ready to serve. My huevos rancheros were on the money! The red Chile ranchero sauce was fantastic. Textured potatoes with hatch New Mexico green Chile impressed the taste buds! This is a great historical food marker in EL Paso and would to definitely not pass by on!

I haven’t been here in years, only had takeout tacos on a Monday during COVID 19, and they were so yummy. Came back today had chicken fajitas tortilla soup and shrimp cocktail. Everything was delicious. Still my favorite salsa!

Great atmosphere. The salsa that they give with the tostadas is delicious! I had the huevos rancheros and they didn't disappoint! The salsa that comes with it is very tasty. Our waitress, Mary, was very sweet and friendly. I highly recommend it here.
