Love it here last is so nice to us and my kids brings us extra and the food is so good I love chop Chey and ribs they are so tender menu good price
Great food. The BBQ ribs are the best. And really friendly service.
Hole in the wall. Went here at 9pm on a Sunday night... not much to look at both inside and out but don't let that deceive you. The food is good. I had the kalbi (korean beef ribs) and it felt like I ate the whole cow. The banchan was decent too. The hosts are very, very friendly. They'll give you a recommendation if you ask for it.
Can't Go Wrong. I Kal Bielive how good this place is. The lunch specials are a killer deal lots of food plus a huge assortment of side dishes banchan or some such is what they are called. El Paso is blessed to have a restaurant of this caliber in our midst for something like 15 dollars you can feed two people to the bursting point. That along with friendly staff smiles all around. If you're ever in the neighborhood or have a longer lunch this is the place to go order the BBQ anything and you won't be disappointed. They even throw in a random soup just because they love you, and you know what I love you too Kal Bi House you get the House Williams Stamp of forever approval.
Best banchan I've had since chicago's koreatown! The kal bi was amazing! My girlfriend, who isn't a fan of beef, almost ate the whole dish herself!
Great lunch deals!! BBQ Korean style ribs are the main reason to dine here. The cold noodle salad is the perfect accompaniment along with their banchan!! Try the soups, especially the hangover soup. The Black tea is awesome and good service. Although sometimes at lunch it can get a little hectic
Looking For Something Different? It's Cheap & Delicious.. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The people are very nice and very helpful in ordering. I especially love the BBQ ribs. They're so juicy and so tasty but the best part of the meal is the variety of side dishes that come with the meal (banchan). I love seaweed salad, fish cake, kimchi, dried anchovies and much more. I love going for lunch cuz you'll get a nice cabbage soup to start off with and the portion is a little bit smaller, includes rice & half an eggroll. The meal costs $6 which is pretty good considering how much food there was. I always come out stuffed. The eggrolls aren't good but everything else is wonderful. I've also had the spicy shrimp and bean curd soup which was excellent.
Our 1st time here to try Keeping team food, we watch to much Net Flix. The restaurant looks old but nice. Could use some Korean decor to liven it up. Service is good and quick , food was great! We will be coming back!! Come check it out. You decide! David
Really good food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. Large menu including some favorites that everyone likes (fried rice) if you have picky eaters in your group. The best thing we had was the kimchi pancakes. The meat was solid but not out of this world. Kind of a hole-in -the-wall feel.
It's our first time to eat here tonight. We ordered the bulgogi dinner plate, it already comes with banchan (sides) and cup of white rice and it tasted really great, the meat was very tender and flavorful. The portion is also great. Plus the service was really fast. We forgot to ask the name of our server but she have done such a great job despite being alone and has a few more tables other than us. We'll definitely go back :)
I was skeptical about this place, but a well-trusted friend had me join her for dinner here one evening and I can't stop going back! I have tried the Bulgogi and ribs, so delicious. The egg rolls and fried dumplings are fantastic too!
The food here is authentic and tastes delicious. Employees are friendly and helpful. I love the little side dishes they give beforehand (love the fish cakes and kimchi) We tried the beef bulgogi, which was tender and delicious. The shrimp fried rice is very tasty. The spicy beef soup (yak gae jang) was flavorful and filling. My favorite were the Kal Bi which are marinated beef short ribs, these are FANTASTIC. The only disappointing thing is that the prices have REALLY increased, and the portions don't seem as big as they were before. From what I recall, the plates I ordered were $6 more each than before. Next time I'll definitely take advantage of their lunch specials.
The food is amazing!!!!! The short ribs are delicious. Oooo and if you like spicy this place will make it how you like 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu.
The food was really good. We had bibimbap(not on menu, you have to ask for it), spicy pork bulgogi, and kimchi jeon. It was all very tasty.
EDIT: I updated my review to reflect currently on how things are. The original review was 3/5 stars.
Went here for dinner. Ordered spicy ribs, they were delicious. The meal comes with rice or noodles. It also included an abundance of little side dishes, like pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, kimchee, spicy potatoes, pickled broccoli, squash, pickled radishes, seaweed, fish, spicy lettuce and onions, shredded potatoes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It seems a bit pricey but you get alot for the price. Really enjoyed this little restaurant.
Delicious Food. This was our first experience ordering Korean food after moving back to El Paso recently. Its a quaint independent spot featuring familiar foods. We called the order in pretty easily and it was ready within 15 minutes. The gamjajean was not as crispy as I prefer but damn it was packed with flavor. Yum. The bulgogi beef was soo delicious and the banchan was on point. There are some experienced recipes made here. Check them out.
I do have to say there is room for improvement on how the staff wears their masks while handling food. They were very friendly and will return. Here are a few pics I took:
Ordered to go and was ready within 15 minutes. Very cozy place with friendly staff. The portion sizes are large and they even include the banchan in the to go order. Everything was delicious and came neatly packed. Will definitely come back if I'm by the area.
