My wife and I love this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Recently we tried the BBQ Burger and the Beef Shawarmas and were blow away as usual. Great food, great prices!

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very good with suggestions. The food is very good and top quality. Their Lamb burger is probably the best menu item followed by the Argentinian steak. The salads are tasty as well and would recommend any of them. Maybe the only thing (that I’ve had) that I wasn’t too impressed by was the mango ice tea. It was a tad bit bitter (probably steeped too long) but with black teas that’s more common than not. Posted below are some pictures of the Independent gyro and the Falafel salad (which if you’ve never had a spicy salad is worth trying). So I’d go for lunch and dinner and oh (**Pro tip the seats by the window are the best). ;)

I decided to try this restaurant after looking at the reviews and their stars. I was disappointed by their service...When we first got there a waitress asked us to seat wherever we wanted and gave us the menu cards... A second waitress came right away and asked us if we wanted anything to drink and if we were ready to order without giving us time to check the menu.. We took a couple of minutes and ordered Achiote chicken sandwich with fries..A third waitress came and served us food with sandwich and salad. We let her know that we didn't order salad and we wanted fries. She got one plates of fries after ten mins and expected us to share from the plate. The sandwich had 5-6 pieces of chicken, pineapple, onions and cheese which wasn't filling.. I'm sorry to say but we were very unhappy with the service and food.

Absolutely disgusting. The picture you see is what was supposed to be cheese “pupusas”, they were not only unpalatable but ugly as all hell to look at. My partner got some calamari that was also terrible and overly coated in seasoning salt. What you see in the photo is exactly what was left on the plates before we left. Server had the nerve to ask if we wanted dessert without acknowledged the fact that we hadn’t finished our food. She knew it was disgusting and didn’t even ask if we wanted to go boxes. Why would you serve something this hideous and burnt to anyone? Terrible service and terrible food.

Enjoyed dining during the lunch hour. Charming restaurant great staff smiling faces and the food came out at a reasonable time. I had the Falafel wrapped in pita with hummus, lettuce, tomatoes red onions, cucumber with dill-tahini sauce with a spinach salad as a side. I will go back and explore more on the menu.

Had a tasty pork sandwich that had the right amount of avocado / sweet / spicy sauce and the pork was correctly seasoned (eg not overdone but not at all bland). The menu has lots of tasty looking healthy options (chicken salpicon) and I'm sure I'll be back here to try some. Just not today. :-)

Overall the restaurant was nice. The interior was nice. Wooden tables. Smells good. More window seating and perhaps outdoor seating would be great. The sign for the restaurant is not street visible. Easy to overlook in the small downtown el paso food scene. The food was great but the service was extremely slow for being the only people in the restaurant . The waitress did not know the menu very well. Burgers were cooked to perfection, (medium is the only way to eat a burger!) fries were good and the pupusa were more of an entree than an appetizer. The menu was a bit overpriced for el paso but overall I would visit again.
