Review Rib Hut - El Paso

I can't comment on the atmosphere or service of the team because I ordered Rib Hut via Doordash, but I can comment on the food. I ordered the Billy Burger (mac n cheese & bacon) and Sweet Potato Fries. What arrived was a Billy Burger and a side of mac n cheese, so that was a bit of a bummer. However, the burger and the mac n cheese were really good. The Burger was HUGE, too big actually to eat without making a whole mess. The vegetables were fresh, the burger was fresh, and the side of mac was good despite not being what I had ordered. Overall, I'd say this was a good take out option for the area.

This is the first BBQ spot I've been to in El Paso, not too shabby. I loved the Mac & cheese and the coleslaw, I enjoyed them more than the brisket and beef rib. The brisket didn't pass the eye test, looked a little dry, but still tasted OK. The beef rib was decent and the BBQ sauce was not impressive. The service was great, our waiter was pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed the sports-bar-like atmosphere overall, just would like more spacious seating. Decent experience overall.

A must to try in El Paso! Such an iconic place which produces great quality food with a more than impecable service! The rib platter I had was AMAZING! And on Wednesdays, they have the rib special !!! 3 and some change per rib!

They have the best ribs I have ever had! I got the beef ribs and they are massive and full of meat! The BBQ is incredible. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese, baked potato, and fries with steak seasoning. Definitely will be back soon! Must stop in El Paso! Service is absolutely amazing! So nice and food comes out quick and perfect!

I'm always trying new restaurant, especially locally owned ones. I'm ashamed to say I've never been here. I've passed by it may times but never stopped to eat. I got the Sourdough Burger and it was delicious. The bread was a little to big for me, but that's just me. The fries and meat were cooked well. I'll definitely be coming back.. Service was awesome too.

We stopped in here for lunch today and it was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and we were warmly greeted when we walked in and promptly given a table. The decor is eclectic, funky, and fun. It’s one of those fun “local” places. My friend and I both had the Rib Hut Sampler Platter. The ribs were meaty, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Their BBQ sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the fried okra as a side, and everyone MUST try the “Green Chili Mac and Cheese” …. Oh my GOD that was amazing. Check this place out for great food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere

Was told I shouldn’t pass through El Paso without stopping here, so I did! The food was delicious, and it was exactly what I hoped Texas BBQ would be. The staff was super nice. I wish I lived closer!

One of the few places you can get Ribs and celebrate the outstanding choices your nephew and neicey make. Early High School Graduation and soon to be UTEP Graduate. Life's good, the food was great, Kaleb was great.. Family Friday is priceless!

The ribs are spectacular. I also really liked the sausage. The brisket was a bit dry and lacked salt, but the delicious barbecue sauce fixed that. Sides are okay, nothing special. The combo platter with three types of meat and two sides is perfect for sharing. If I were to order a main dish for myself, it would be the rip platter. The cobbler for dessert is unremarkable. Pretty good value for money.

If you’re in the mood for some good ribs and an ice cold beer, this is a good option. The service was very fast and our waiter was very friendly. The food: We got their family package which was around $35, and it came with ribs (we upgraded the selection), Mac and cheese (exchanged for Cole Slaw), rolls, beans, potato salad, bbq sauce and onions and jalapeños. It was more than enough food for our family of 4. The ribs were meaty and tender, and the bbq sauce was nice and tangy. The rolls were fresh, the Mac and Cheese was creamy and delicious, the beans and potato salad were also a hit with my family. They do offer sandwiches, chicken, and healthier options. They also offer some wines, about 5 beers on draft and a larger selection in bottles or cans. The atmosphere is relaxed, kinda dim inside but the decor is rustic, what you would expect at a bbq joint. As I stated before, the service was fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Give it a try!

First time attending restaurant, it went awesome. Server Angel, gave us a wonderful service. Food was great, the taste was Unique. Very well portioned servings. Would definitely recommend to stop by and try their specials. Awesome place very clean and friendly. Will definitely bring my family to eat out. I'm Addicted to the Sausage Links they serve ! This will be something to order lots of again as they are absolutely delicious with a side or two of beans . Call and ask for a cup of BBQ sauce to dip the Sausage Links too . Mmmmmmmm delicious.

The primary reason we ate here is because they were open. We had tried two other local BBQ restaurants near the NMSU campus before finding Rib Hut. The restaurant is tiny, and the parking lot is even smaller. The interior is dark due to tiny windows and marginal lighting, but what could be seen was fun. The serving sizes were huge. I ordered the half serving of brisket, and my wife ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. Both looked more like full servings, and the sides were equally large. My brisket tasted more like roast beef, but was good enough. My wife loved her ribs.

Got the sampler platter with sidewinder & curly fries. Massive ribs great, I couldn't quite finish it. The beef ribs were especially good. Shout out to my server Angel, cool dude, excellent service.

Rib Hut is a good BBQ place that provides good service, tasty food, and a cool atmosphere. I had the chance to taste the sausage, brisket, baby back ribs, sweet potato fries, potato salad, okra, and the beans. The sausage was over cooked on my plate and overall it wasn’t that tasty. I believe that the sausage was the worst meet I tried. This is the reason I won’t give it a 5 star rating. The brisket was cooked well and wasn’t dry. It was great and I highly recommend it. The baby back ribs were great and the best plate here. They are a must have. Very tasty, very meaty, and it is a must have. Rib hut has great ribs. Lastly the sides were good! I recommend the sweet potato fries or the fried okra! The service was very attentive and friendly. No complaints. Happy to go back for just the ribs any day!

I loved how cozy the restaurant felt. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was better than I anticipated.

They have the best barbecue and prices aren't bad. I ordered a coconut lavender tea that was so good! It came in a giant glass with free refills. Definitely recommend this place. Dessert wasn't bad either, and the staff was super friendly.

Amazing. Brisket and ribs. The Ester spud was delicious too. They also gave us a free dessert- apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Will definitely come back!
