Rib Hut

They have the best ribs I have ever had! I got the beef ribs and they are massive and full of meat! The BBQ is incredible. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese, baked potato, and fries with steak seasoning. Definitely will be back soon! Must stop in El Paso! Service is absolutely amazing! So nice and food comes out quick and perfect!

I can't comment on the atmosphere or service of the team because I ordered Rib Hut via Doordash, but I can comment on the food. I ordered the Billy Burger (mac n cheese & bacon) and Sweet Potato Fries. What arrived was a Billy Burger and a side of mac n cheese, so that was a bit of a bummer. However, the burger and the mac n cheese were really good. The Burger was HUGE, too big actually to eat without making a whole mess. The vegetables were fresh, the burger was fresh, and the side of mac was good despite not being what I had ordered. Overall, I'd say this was a good take out option for the area.

The primary reason we ate here is because they were open. We had tried two other local BBQ restaurants near the NMSU campus before finding Rib Hut. The restaurant is tiny, and the parking lot is even smaller. The interior is dark due to tiny windows and marginal lighting, but what could be seen was fun. The serving sizes were huge. I ordered the half serving of brisket, and my wife ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. Both looked more like full servings, and the sides were equally large. My brisket tasted more like roast beef, but was good enough. My wife loved her ribs.

This is the first BBQ spot I've been to in El Paso, not too shabby. I loved the Mac & cheese and the coleslaw, I enjoyed them more than the brisket and beef rib. The brisket didn't pass the eye test, looked a little dry, but still tasted OK. The beef rib was decent and the BBQ sauce was not impressive. The service was great, our waiter was pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed the sports-bar-like atmosphere overall, just would like more spacious seating. Decent experience overall.

I'm always trying new restaurant, especially locally owned ones. I'm ashamed to say I've never been here. I've passed by it may times but never stopped to eat. I got the Sourdough Burger and it was delicious. The bread was a little to big for me, but that's just me. The fries and meat were cooked well. I'll definitely be coming back.. Service was awesome too.
