Ruby’s BarBQ was a cool place with some pretty good barbecue, Three Bean salad and potato salad and a cold bottle of Frostie Blue cream soda. Also have a military discount can’t beat that Thanks Dave *KINGPIN* FN
Good, quick, bbq. Brisket and ribs are delicious and moist. Like other reviews have mentioned, sides are pretty limited and mostly terrible. Potato salad tastes like the one you buy from Albertsons. Bbq sauces are good, I personally prefer the ones from Famous Dave's better. There is a country store and a gas station attached to the restaurant so it's a one stop shop lol. To order, walk in and get in line at the food counter. You are being served food as you order it. Then you can go find a table to sit down at.
I love this place for its Ribs and barbque.. Baby backs, slaw and beans make my day Along with a Michelob, thats the pefect meal.. Come on in great place to bring the family
Stop smoking happy hippo then you won't tast lighter fluid. The food here is fantastic. And no I don't work here or know anyone who does. I've always had a great dining experience here and will return many many times over.
Their Q is aiiite!. Brisket (especially the moist) is damn tasty, the prime rib though a bit pricy was solid and a nice medium rare, and their regular bbq sauce has that nice Texas kick and is pretty good. My issue is with their sides... they suck! Potato salad, coleslaw, corn, and beans are all terrible. Only good one is their 3 bean salad w/ green beans, fava, and garbanzos in an asian type vinaigrette. Haven't tried their pork ribs yet, usually go to Dave's for those.... If they had Dave's or cattleman's sides, I'd eat here a helluva lot more...
Country music, great barbecue for breakfast, lunch, and dinner makes my world go round. I always go for the 3 egg breakfast bowl with 3 meats, cheese, or beans for breakfast. If I'm in a rush, then I go for the grab and go tacos! Lean smoked brisket for lunch or dinner. The condiment bar has fresh pickles, sliced onion, and peppers.
The self service way is very comfortable
Pork chop and pulled pork is really yummy, especially goes with the chili and pickles

We got Brisket Moist, Baby back ribs, Jalapeno sausage with cream corn, coleslaw, Rudy's beans and a Jumbo Smoked potato. Best moist brisket we had so far! Smoked to a perfect pink ring and a delicious char, 10 stars just for the moist brisket. Baby back ribs could be more tender. The smoked potato was delicious; we had a bit of leftover potatoes to go & they were still superb.

Fabian offered to take our photo and also shared with us where to visit in El Paso. We also got great recommendations from him on where to get authentic Mexican candies. Very friendly staff Rudy's certainly have.
I really enjoyed the experience. Authentic BBQ restaurant where you see them cut the pork and brisket in front of you. The meat was tasty and tender and I really enjoyed the Rudy's sauces. If I get the chance to eat Rudy's again I'll definitely stop.
Delicious! Fast and tasty barbecue for a good deal. Definitely try the pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, and creamed corn. The coleslaw wasn’t fantastic so maybe skip on that.

This place is absolutely amazing! Service was great! Our first time there we were able to taste test... Probably the very best BBQ I've had to date! Loved the potato salad.... Loved the peice meal ordering so you can try a bit of everything! This was over all a great experience for me and my taste buds! Hard to believe for a gas station BBQ joint! Try it! Very juicy and delicious pork ribs and very delicious and tasty sausages. They are really skilled in handling these meats and they also have very delicious spices. Of course, they had respectable staff, but not very kind. Peppers and pickled cucumbers were very tasty and crunchy with the food, and you could choose them yourself in a self-service manner and with the size you want, without extra cost, in additional dishes next to the food. We were very satisfied with choosing there, of course, the price is relatively high, compared to the amount of food, but it is very tasty.
It's one of my favorite places when craving BBQ. They are fast, friendly, and inexpensive. The food is delicious as well.
