I've never had such bad service at a MOD Pizza. Employees seemed to be completely Rogue, no guidance. Several employees seem very angry to be at work. one employee in particular had a huge unrestrained poof of hair on his head. His hair was more than 8 in tall, and it was free to drop in all of your food. He was making pizza.

The MODders were all on point, greeted every customer that came in, the level of service was top notch. You can tell, MOD has a great business model and it trickles down. It is very evident. The Pizzas were incredible. I only took a couple pictures of one of my visits and I highly recommend these custom blends baby.
Lets start with how fresh the ingredients are, fresh fresh fresh fresh!
I went with the thin crust for that crunchy east coast style and a half and half sauce selection of the red and the white. Mozzarella, feta, gorgonzola, ricota, asiago, parmesan, cilantro, red onion, rosemary, oregano, roasted garlic, chopped garlic, roasted corn, pepperoni, spicy chicken sausage! MOD has not let us down and anytime I am near one, especially the El Cerrito location, I am all in. They have a nice Beer on top selection as well from local brewers which ads to the vibe of a local pizzeria which is MOD pizzas goal. Feel at home and enjoy your pizza how you want it.
Happy Holidays Bay Area and world of GOOGLE 2018-INFINITY!

The standard mozzarella serving was too much mozzarella but I guess that's my fault since I didn't tell them to stop when they grabbed a handful. Still the pizza was decently tasty. Garlic bread was WAY TOO SALTY. I took 1 bite and my blood pressure skyrocketed.
Pizza: [8/10]
Garlic Bread: [2/10] I thought it was inedible but my dad ate it all up and said it was good with the pesto.
Now that I tried all the toppings I'll know for next time how to creatr my perfect pizza. Stay tuned! Will do an updated review of my perfect pizza.

Food was quick and flavorful. Ingredients were fresh. I took my order to go and didn’t have to wait too long. There’s also online ordering if you prefer to come in and grab your food. Orders can be fully customized to your liking. I ordered the “mad dog” and asked for jalapeños. The dough wasn’t too heavy.
I’ll probably come back and make my own.

Good people. They messed up my order, but refunded my money *and* made me another pizza. That's above and beyond! And the pizza is good - get the mega dough, it's much better than the thin in my opinion.

I use to love Mod pizza until I got to know that there food is cross contaminated, wow when I asked the staff to change the gloves in order to touch the veggies, she was super rude and mentioned that ‘she can change the gloves but vegetables are already cross contaminated and no use’.. mentioned this to cashier she was manager and she said there’s training issue.. really? I don’t recommend others..

Best pizza ever! Choose your own toppings. Great crust, perfectly done + best red sauce, with a tiny bit of heat. Get the 'no name cake', like a gourmet ding dong for dessert. Beer on tap, and bottle beer and wine available. Food excellent, help friendly, attentive. 4**** because it could be cleaner, tables, floor, rest room, behind the counter prep area floor.

Fantastic customer service from the front counter. Know what you want before you go to try and speed up the line for the rest of the people waiting. Highly advise the homemade Ding Dongs as a dessert. Cheesy garlic bread IMO is not worth it, stick to the pizza and the dessert! Great lemonade on tap also!
