Long John Silver's

Worst experience I've EVER had at a Long John Silvers! My family of 4 arrived @ 8:43pm, on a Friday night, to locked doors and outside lights off. The sign on the very BOTTOM of the window next to the door said the lobby and drive thru close @ 9pm. So we figured maybe they closed the lobby a little early but we should have time for the drive thru....nope that was closed too. We decided to just pull forward to get out and there was another car at the window getting food orderd. We assumed the drive thru speaker might have been broken...nope wrong again! The girl at the window said we can order but we will have to wait 16 minutes or so for our food. We were ok with that, we usually love eating there. She then stated that she can only except card payment not cash. Again, that was fine. I asked her for a menu to decide what we wanted cause we already passed the menu at the drive thru speaker, she said she can give me a nutrition pamphlet to see what food they have. I said they'd not going to work. At that point she FINALLY agreed to turn the drive thru back on and allowed us to go back around. As we pull up to order, a guy that was parked, got back in his truck and quickly pulled up behind us. We pulled forward and were in the process of paying and all of a sudden the guy who was behind us appears between our car and the window. He was very upset At this point it's now 8:53ish the girl is now being very rude, kind of smiling and arguing with the guy saying the lobby closes at 8:30. She agreed, after some back and forth to take his order as an employee from inside came out and very rudely says, "what you want", and the guy started telling him what was going on. Then the employee says, "no what food you want to order?" He was told it would take at least a half an hour. During this time we noticed the female employee didn't have a name badge on and noticed a sign (right next to the drive thru window) stating on Friday's and Saturday nights, they close @ 9:30 (picture attached). Funny thing about receipts, they tend to list cashiers name or log on number. Our receipt lists Alyssa as the employee who rang us up and is time stamped @ 8:52pm. We paid $40.32 for our food and drove home. From El Cajon to Lakeside cause that's the closest one to us, just to find our order is messed up AND SOGGY! Should have eaten at the mall but really wanted Long John Silvers...That won't happen again.

The food is good, but unfortunately the service is not. I ordered a fish and shrimp plate with cole slaw and corn on the side and a large order of popcorn shrimp. After waiting a good 10 minutes for my food (even though there was no one in the drive thru besides me for that entire 10 minutes), I finally received my order and left. I drove home (over 90 miles away) only to discover that I had not received the cole slaw I ordered and that my popcorn shrimp was a small, not a large. I attempted to call this location to file a complaint, but the number on the receipt did not connect; I checked and redialed the number, same result. The staff is friendly, but not very service-oriented since they can't seem to take orders correctly.

This was my first time at this place of business. I've seen commercials all of the time. I finally decided to go inside. I must say this is by far the nastiest place I've ever been to. A lot of batter and hardly any fish. The batter isn't seasoned. The fries looked as if they were swimming in the old. Mushy and disgusting for the price. I would've been satisfied with just the popcorn shrimp and Sierra Mist. I will NOT be returning

Greasy fish, my fingers were drenched in oil. Cole slaw was good. Fries were also soggy. Ordered from my car went in to eat. Thank goodness because my order wasn't complete. How upset do we all get when our order isn't complete? Only ordered for myself...thank goodness I didn't order for my family ..
