Great restaurant in Door County for families and larger groups. Nice salad bar. Prime rib is amazing. Cooked perfectly as pink meat was the entire steak and not just pink in the middle. Highly recommend.

Beautiful building. All the northern log cabin aesthetic you could ask for.
The food was excellent, if a bit pricey. But all entrees come with the salad bar. So that kind of makes up for it. The two soups were delicious and if I had more room to fit it all I would have went for seconds.
The service was great. Didn't wait long for anything and despite our dizzying order, it all came out right.

We frequent The Log Den every time we come to Door County. It's a family favorite. We cane for their father's day brunch and it did not disappoint. Lots of selection to choose from. Fresh fruit, salad bar, ribs and a large dessert spread. We always have great customer service. Staff is friendly and attentive. They were busy on fathers day and it took a lottle longer to receive our drinks but completely understandable and our server still checked in on us while we were waiting. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in Door County. With the large interior space there is plenty of seating available. The exterior is beautifully landscaped so the patio seating is a great option if weather permits it.

This place is incredible . The food , the employees and the entire experience was very enjoyable . The place has so much character and the food is incredible . I've been driving past this place for years . I wish I would have stopped here years ago .

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon, the open signs were still on but we caught them right as they were about to close to clean up from their brunch buffet. Everything was turned off already but they offered to heat us up a plate and wanted to be accommodating. We said we'd be back but the manager/owner(?) still offered us a delicious free dessert and a drink. The building is gorgeous, mostly crafted from trees hand picked in door county and a wonderful atmosphere.

Beautiful building with a rich family history behind it. The waitstaff and bartenders are hard working and very friendly! I highly recommend the cherry walnut salad with chicken :)

I was a little sceptible with our visit being in the off season, but, I am soo glad we stopped by. First thing you'll notice is just how freaking beautiful this building is from the outside, only to be outdone by the interior. With there were less than 10 people in the place, we felt a little bit like royalty. The salad bar was perfect, and each of the two soups available were delicious. We even inquired and bought some 'to-go'. The staff were amazing. The food was divine. The atmosphere was intimate. Absolutely 10/10 recommended.

We were here in October so we weren't sure how it would be so late in the season and very few tourists. We both ordered the prime rib with a baked potato. We also had the salad bar which did have a nice variety of items. The prime was done perfectly. It may have been the best we have ever had. Service was very good ever having to ask fo a refill on drinks or the warm rolls served with dinner. All in all we had an excellent experience and will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

Fantastic Friday fish fry with friendly bartenders, wait staff, and patrons. Great for groups both big and small with an available separate room to reserve. Note, the separate room is not actually a separate room (no doors or walls to separate it). Had no problem accommodating a group of 15. 10/10 will visit again!
