Store is always clean when I go in and everyone is very nice. Especially when I hit the deli. You can't beat their fried chicken. It's some of the best around at a great price.

This place is absolutely delicious and nice. The lady’s who work here are kind and the food is amazing made me miss my Indonesian side of the family because it tasted like they were cooking for me! I had their Nasi Padang and their Ayam Penyet which i will come back for more next time I am in Seattle. They also have their market with many goodies that I love

Very friendly and delicious food. They carry some groceries as well. It’s the only place to date I have seen carry Tolakangin in the US.
I bought a number of things for takeout including Ayam Penyet, Nasi Padang, Rendang, and Bacang Ayam.
As of now I have only tried the Ayam Penyet and it was fantastic! I bought the other things cold for later heating and will try to remember to update this review after eating them.

Best place for authentic Indonesian food near Seattle. Good selection of Indonesian food as well as grocery items.

Caveat: I have *no idea* what Indonesian food is supposed to taste like, so take this white guy's review for what it's worth.
I wanted to try "Nasi Kuning," but they were out so got "Nasi Padang" instead. It was served wrapped in (I think) a coconut leave. Unwrapped meal in attached image. The chicken was the best part it was flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender. The beef was also good. But the egg was very overcooked to the point of being rubbery with plenty of green around the yolk.
My other complaint was that it's very rice-heavy. If there was a bit more of that amazing chicken leg and a bit less rice, I'd rate it higher.
Since it was a restaurant / grocery store hybrid, I also picked up the mango gel cups in the picture and had one for dessert. It was very good.
Overall, I'm intrigued enough to probably return and try something else.

First time having Indonesian food. The food was tasty. And the service was nice.

Very authentic Indonesian cooking, the name itself is an homage to the culture & would be very obvious for people with strong Indonesian background 😊
Not just a restaurant, it's also a grocery store and sells authentic snacks & desserts to take home...

It is the most authentic Indonesian cuisine there is in all of Washington state. It's family owned and the owners Yoyon and Ira are great people! They have the absolute BEST Nasi Padang!
