I hadn't had an ice cream cake in years and decided to get one for my birthday this year and wasn't disappointed by the one I got at Cold Stone Creamery. I was able to pick out any flavor I wanted and in fact picked out a different flavor for each lair of the cake and could have as many crushed topping mixed in all for no extra cost.
The overall cost was high, but the ice cream was rich (which is a sign of quality ice cream) and both my wife and I found it to be much better tasting than Braum's. I don't know what the white frosting I picked out was made of, but it was very light so it allowed the ice cream to remain the dominant flavor which is what I wanted. Plus the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our schedule. I'm thinking I may do this again next year for my birthday!

Lots of choices!! If you like ice cream at all, you can make something you enjoy. Lots of base ice cream flavors, fresh fruit, candy toppings, sauces like caramel & chocolate. Waffle cones, waffle cone bowls, and both available plain or dipped in chocolate and sprinkles.
If you aren't creative and don't know where to start there are posters on the wall of the signature mixtures. Some amazing combinations suggested or create your own.
In addition to ice cream creations they have ice cream cakes. Several sizes available. Cakes come in various sizes and they include a cake and ice cream layers.

Visited Coldstone when it was 20 degrees outside, and it was suprisingly packed. The employees handled everything with grace. They offered me samples as if there wasn't a line. Very personable. I ordered dark chocolate, strawberries, and Butterfinger!

The ice cream is great. They also have great ice cream cakes. You really can’t go wrong with anything here.
The problem is the store itself. Sometimes it looks unkempt and can be a little on the warm side for eating your ice cream there.

Always loved cold stone. The only I would suggest can change is the straws that go with the shakes. The current straws are meant for cold drinks not shakes. You guys need a thicker straw. I had to stop by at Jack in the box to replace it.
