I love Java Dave’s! They have different flavors of coffee and great breakfast food. Every time I’m there I get two pieces of toast. One has peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, and honey on it. The other has cream cheese, pineapple, grapes and strawberries on it. It’s so good! You can’t go wrong by choosing to walk into this place!

This place is a long standing staple here in Edmond! It's been here as long as I can remember. Prices are cheaper than Starbucks, e.g. a medium black coffee costs $2.15 & refills are 50¢. Plenty of seating & electrical outlets if you have work to do. The clientele are mostly older retired folks just chatting, so it's never that busy or loud. They have plenty of food options from which to choose.

We figured we would try Java Dave's this morning since we were close by. Ordered a coffee and latte, and got very rude looks and laughs from multiple employees when I asked for nonfat milk in the latte. I was told they only have 1%, which I said was fine. Terrible customer service, mediocre coffee. We will not be back.

I just moved to Oklahoma City. I was meeting a friend in Edmond and decided to try out Java Dave's on Broadway. I just wanted to say that the food is amazing, and the service is prompt and friendly. I've traveled around the US and had a lot of coffee, but theirs was by far the best. I'll definitely be frequenting this coffee shop. Keep up the great work!

Great Place w/lots of Regulars. My wife and I have breakfast or lunch here 2-3 times a week. Friendly, caring, decent owners in a comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast food, salads and deli sanswiches served anytime and hot sandwiches after 11. Menu changes with the seasons with homemade soups during the colder months. Large variety of hot coffees and teas and all kinds of sweet drinks. Great place to gather with friends or small groups. Never had anything I didn't like but if you have your heart set on bitter coffee or places with tight seating and irritating music, you might try Starbucks or Paneras or any one of the other coffee shops in town.

Not going back.... We went in to grab some coffee to go. The older man who took the order and made the coffee was very nice, but got our order very wrong. We ordered an Iced Mocha and a Snickerlicious Latte. We ended up getting a HOT Mocha and a Regular Latte, no flavor. He even repeated the order back and still got it wrong. The Latte tasted horrible and was dumped down the drain and the mocha was salvaged by adding our own ice at home. I haven't been to Java Dave's since probably 2004, and I will not be going back.

Freindly Staff, Good Food, but Terrible Coffee. I drop by on my way two/from/in_between class every so often. I even have gone out of my way to walk from campus so that I support a non-chain/local_shop. Like the title says, the staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. They have marginal vegetarian options. Their Minestrone soup is good and you can't beat peanut butter on a bagel when you need a snack. They also have a veggie sandwich which amounts to a little more than ingrediants you would find in a salad on bread. But, on occasion, their coffee has been terrible. I have driven across the country several times and drank coffee from even the most remote gas stations, and I have only run into coffee that I couldn't drink one other time. The style of their shop is still from the era when they were one of the only gourmet coffee shop in Oklahoma.
