Spice 24

This was a last minute decision and the food was amazing. I got beef and jumbo shrimp for my protein, potatoes, and egg noddles. It was in spicy black bean sauce which was a medium spice level, and I added cilantro, scallions, fried onions, seaweed and scrambled eggs. It is with a side of rice as well and I had the white rice. Everything was delicious , I will be going again.

We had 3 individual orders. Son had a beef soup moderate heat, wife went vegetarian, I went full throttle hot chicken (double meat) with cabbage, pickled mustard greens & bamboo shoots with scrambled egg. All meals had good flavors. Only bummer was wide noodle & glass noodle are no different. Was expecting a rice noodle, instead got a mung bean noodle The selection of ingredients is wide, a few freebie add-ons, and over all generous portions in no way overcooked. Food came relatively fast even with a decent sized crowd dining in & a brisk take out service. Cost is intermediate. 3 of us with tip worked out to $23 a head. The menu is designed to promote family style meals, so my belief is larger parties sharing can bring the per head cost down some. Looks like a great option for college students, big portions & reasonable costs. Overall, this gluttonous pig says hit up Spice 24 & enjoy.

First time there. While I do think this place serves good food as it was like a build your own stir fry. The one thing that irritated me was the waitress. After we were signing our bill, she literally harassed me to give her a tip. She was like give me 18% or 20% tip and she kept coming into my personal space (like breathing down my neck and leaning on shoulder) and said don’t forget to tip. Don’t forget. I literally had to raise my voice and say back off. I will give what I want. Now I did give a tip however I hated how she bullied us. I do think the place needs to train and tell their servers that you can’t bully customers into a tip. Yes tipping is important but it shouldn’t be bullied into giving. 💯
