I was visiting family to celebrate a birthday in NJ found this bakery on a random Google search. Check their website for the weekend cake specials! I ordered their mango mousse cake and it was SO good. Thank God I live 100 miles away or I would be a regular weekend cake special customer. Super friendly staff, too!

Last Saturday 4/23/22 I picked up a two tier cake for my granddaughters Baptism party. I wanted to say it was the most delicious delightful cake I have ever eaten. The vanilla cake was so moist and the strawberry banana custard filling was amazing. The presentation was beautifully done covered in pink roses thank you so much so satisfied.!!!!!

We went with La Bon for our wedding cake and it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious! We chose the vanilla cake with chocolate custard filling and vanilla buttercream. We worked with Breanna, extremely pleasant experience and she was always responsive, proactive, and happy to help. We also did the at home cake tasting which was fun!

I come here at least twice a month for cupcakes. I only come when the peanut butter, caramel delight, apple, or birthday cupcakes are available. Those 4 are always delicious! I can’t understand why they don’t have them available all the time. You can check on their website to find what days those cupcake are available. Unfortunately, I have to lower my review today. This morning my friend picked up a junior chocolate peanut butter cake we were going to enjoy after dinner tonight. It was a steal at only $9.50. The cake was moist, but the cake itself was bland! It tasted nothing like chocolate or peanut butter! The frosting was bland as well with no taste of peanut butter whatsoever! It wasn’t even sweet! We ended up tossing it in the trash! I’d still come here again for those cupcakes I’ve mentioned, but I’ll no longer ever purchase any cakes of the month that are on sale. I’d definitely never order that chocolate peanut butter cake again either.

Needed a gluten-free cake. They make a really good lemon cake with meringue topping. It was enough for a family of 5 plus 1 piece left over which one of my kids happily ate without asking🙄 ordered a day before and picked it up the next day. Tip: I didn't see the sign, but as you get close going north on 27, pull into the first entrance before the bluish building. The shoppe is about 3 stores down.

This is one of my favorite bakery and I come quite often but I’ve felt there has been a significant amount of change in the macaroons , for one the raspberry filling has changed , for one taste and 2 consistency it used to be like a buttercream like consistency and now it’s just like a purée coming out of a box , it’s not as good as it used to be , the macaroons have tasted harder almost stale not fresh as they used to taste , and the sizes have decreased while prices increased. Maybe it’s the person who makes them or the macaroons have been refrigerated? I still like the rest of the treats but the macaroons aren’t it.

I ordered a custom vegan cake here for my sister's birthday and it turned out beautiful! This was one of the few places that had vegan options, and it tastes delicious too. My sister really loved the cake :)

Poor customer service experience given by sales rep Jenna.
Background: arrived to Edison location a half hour before closing on May 3, 2022 to order a cake for my daughter’s 1st Holy Communion on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The sales staff (3 ladies) was hustling and bustling trying to take care of the last customers for the day. I was third in line; and when worker Jenna became available I informed her I would like to order a cake. Her face immediately changed - I could see the disappointment and annoyance on her face that she had to take a custom cake order. She then proceeded to ask if I saw the decor book - I said no I would like to see it. Upon giving me the book she then said we only have one register so I will have to take your order after everyone in line. By this time four additional people who came in after me were behind me. I reviewed the decor book and waited patiently for her to take my custom cake order and an additional order for some of the pastry items still available. I could see her eyeing me and talking about me to the other workers which made me very uncomfortable. Finally she came over to me after about 10 minutes of me waiting to say she will not be able to take my cake order because they are operating on one register. I told her beyond my cake order I was there to place an order for additional Pastries - she then said nonchalantly “oh sorry I didn’t know”. It made me feel as though she didn’t care about my business and I was a bother. Therefore, I chose not to order the additional pastries and instead placed an order over the phone for the custom cake.
Your sales team (specifically Jenna) needs gain better customer service skills - making a customer feel less than or like a bother is not a good feeling and even if your team delivers tasty items if customer service falls off you will lose some of your very faithful customers of which I am one.
Note: being tired is no excuse for poor customer service.
