Toby's Pizza And Subs

Best pizza in town! Toby’s has been a staple of Edgewater for a long time. Definitely a local favorite! Speedy service and cheap prices for a quality pizza! Subs and salads are awesome as well. Not to mention the friendly atmosphere you get to experience every time you walk through the door! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you are missing out.

I wanted to try Toby's after reading the reviews, seeing how majority of them are good, and reading that they have such great prices, which they do! Their Greek salad is really good. Employees are nice and respectful. When I got there I saw that they bake their chicken wings in the oven and they’re also frozen I saw the lady pour them right out of the bag onto the pan. I was not expecting that. I can buy frozen wings at the Walmart and bake them myself. Also when I got there I had to wait for another 10-15 mins for the wings to finish and I realized my pizza had been done for who knows how long, when I got home the pizza was cold and distasteful, obviously because it had probably been sitting on top of the oven for about 20 mins. Please teach your employees to manage their time better and to NOT cook the pizza first before the wings. I will not be going back. I’d rather pay the extra $10 for quality down the road at Alberto’s! I never ever leave reviews but I just had to for this one.

I just thought I would share how Toby likes to treat his employees. My step son works at Toby’s and every single night he works he comes home and tells me how Toby will talk to him when he shows up to close the restaurant. He will talk down to him about things that he had nothing to do with, today it was about a burnt pizza from yesterday that he had nothing to do with and a delivery to Dollar Tree he never took. If my step son does not do his job by all means he should be told that he’s not doing what is asked of him but by no means should he be treated like that. I have more things I would like to share but I would be here all night. How you treat your employees is important, they will go around telling everyone how they are treated and in the end the business owner will lose customers.
