Love this place! My mom actually told me about this place recently and everytime we have been the service and food are both AMAZING! I love me some good Mexican food and this place never upsets! It's a bit of a small diner but forsure would recommend everyone stops here and try the place out!!
Some of the best doggone Mexican food this side of the border! Loved everything! I had 2 beef and cheese enchiladas that were just plain delicious! Everything we had was spot on!
Being my favorite food. This place was extra special. It truly has the authentic Mexican taste. The service was so good. So very nice. Then the chef came out with a sweet surprise for my Mom's birthday without us even saying anything. So very thoughtful. Thank you.
I haven’t been here in a while but I came in today with the guys for lunch and the food was incredible. The woman on the grill was extremely fast and my food looked like something out of a magazine and to be honest that was one of the reasons I stopped coming here was because my wife and I last visit it was a slop show for the evening shift. But today they redeemed themselves. The evening cooks could learn a thing or two off the young lady on the morning shift. Well done Taco Especial you have gained my business back.
It's been a bit since we ate there. (Not going to lie, it used to be one of those take it or leave it kind of places for me.) But we have revisited twice for takeout,and what a difference. Food was piping hot and fresh. The staff greeted me right away, and the young man behind the counter even offered to help carry my food out. It is so nice to see a very long standing restaurant doing well in my community. Keep it up !

Have been coming here since the 80's. I now live about 50 minutes away and still come down. Tacos, Mexican sandwich, taco e bowl, chimichanga, enchiladas... you can't go wrong with any of these or really anything on the menu. Service is always great!!!!
My favorite downriver Mexican food!.. the enchiladas are my favorite but I haven’t ever had anything I didn’t like. Been going there for over 20 years and counting 👊👊
