The only place I will eat shrimp. The steak is phenomenal as well. My favorite restaurant in EC.
This is our absolute favorite place to eat! It has the best shrimp, scallops and cod!!! Trust me it's worth a try :)
Great food, this is the only place I will eat shrimp (I don't like shrimp). Much more pleasant atmosphere compared to the larger chain resturant that opened recently. I wish they were open for lunch on more days of the week, can't get enough.
Eau Claire's Best. This is the best food in Eau Claire; hands down. Try dipping your food into the mild mustard sauce (very mild, so even if you don't like mustard this stuff is great), then dip into the ginger sauce and....viola! Pure awesomeness!
Don't Pass Tokyo....... This is by far Eau Claires BEST restaurant!!! The owners are from Japan and have been in Eau Claire 20+ years. The BEST salad dressing I have had, it's the house dressing and I think it's ginger and carrot. Everyone gets a sample of the shrimp, YAY!!! They really got it going on! The food is simple and so tastey! They make all of their sauces, dips and dressing. The food is prepared at your table, another bonus. I LOVE TOKYO !!!
A great place for a business meeting, a intimate date, or a entertaining night out with the family. The choices of ingredients, dishes, and drinks are superb. The servers are very friendly and helpful in decision making for pickier people. The front displays as a hidden gem but the interior is a vastly more vibrant and authentic experience waiting for you. I'd recommend having a reservation for weekend nights. Honestly blown away by the egg drop soup and house salad appetizers.
Friendly accommodating staff, and a knowledgeable entertaining chef, made this a delightfully memorable experience. Everyone's food was delicious and precisely prepared. The first timers were impressed with the experience, and were even coaxed to try the calamari.
Filet mignon and shrimp was totally amazing! The steak was tender and melted in my mouth!
My taste buds were definitely alive eating this meal! Definitely go back!

This place was simple and cute all the way from the exterior to the fish kite banners on the wall to the privacy cloths hung in between each room. As for food, I can only speak for the ramen this time, but both the spicy shoyu and tonkatsu shio were delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy and able to grab the thicc soup. The seasoned egg was delightful and creamy. The char siu seemed to be braised and then charred on the top. It melted so nicely in the mouth! Both broths tasted similar, but the spicy one was reminiscent of almost (just the tiniest bit) a curry broth because it was so thick, creamy and spicy. Overall, we would definitely come again for the ramen. Plus, they seem to have a great cocktail/special drink selection as well as sake and beer. So glad we stopped by before returning to Menomonie!
This place has done a fantastic job making their yummy food available both for carryout and dine-in options. Staff is kind & acommodating, and talented on the hibachi grill. The shrimp and steak options are amazingly delicious! They even make homemade soup and all dipping sauces - Definitely a family favorite!
I've been coming to Tokyo for as long as I can remember -- over two decades now. This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine and was always my choice for birthday dinners growing up. The quality of the food is always exceptional, and the service continues to be great even after all of these years. I miss seeing Yoshi and Dona around the restaurant, but the new owners have done a fantastic job of keeping the tradition alive. Definitely the best hibachi and the best shrimp in town!
Best steak and shrimp in town. Also love their calamari. Highly recommend. Their ramen is easily the best you can find in Eau Claire and rivals most in Minneapolis as well.
