Caffe Capri

The sign in front of the place reads, “fine Italian cuisine,” which is far from what we received. The food was mediocre but aside from that, the prices on the menu did not match the prices on our bill. Also, the waiter offered a kids menu and then charged us $11 for 3 chicken tenders and $7 for a handful of French fries. I called the manager over and he stated that those are the prices because they don’t have a kids menu. I wish they would figure out what they were actually serving and come up with one price list. Definitely more of a pizzeria vibe rather than a fancy Italian restaurant.

I don't give bad ratings but the service and treatment my family received is unacceptable. We had to send one dish back because it was an undercooked fish. It was brought back not fixed after we asked to take it off the bill they put the dish half price. After asking for another adjustment the server came back saying that we don't need to leave a tip only for us to realize that the tip was already charged.

I've been coming to this restaurant since my daughter was three years old. My daughter is now eleven. She loves to come here for the amazing oven brick pizza and Pasta. Everybody should come and try their lunch special with their new home made focaccia bread. With $13.00 dollars you can have a gourmet lunch😄 besides the stuff goes above and beyond to please You, and Dominic *the owner* is the most friendly guy I've ever met. I Love the way he treats his customer. Overall Cafe Capri is our favorite Italian restaurant in East Rutherford.

Caffe Capri is an amazing meal to treat yourself to. The food is absolutely amazing. My significant other and I went here on a date and absolutely loved it. We got the clam appetizer and the eggplant appetizer which were both great. I wish I could have taken a picture before hand to show but they were eaten in the blink of an eye. For our main meal we ended up getting the margarita pizza which is also amazing here as they make it more traditionally. If you happen to also have a sweet tooth then you are in luck as their desserts are all homemade. My girlfriend loved the tiramisu and I very much enjoyed the cannoli. Would most definitely recommend and they also have parking which is a big plus.

This was my first time here. My friend brought me here for my birthday. Great service from the minute we walked through the door. The owner, Eddie, came to the table and introduced himself. Gave us background on the restaurant. Fresh, organic ingredients and family ran. Our servers, Juan and Roman, were very attentive and friendly. Everything was fresh, good portions. We started with the fried calamari and brick oven personal pizza. The margarita pizza was delicious! I added shrimp to my pasta primavera. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. We shared a tiramisu which came with whipped cream topped with blueberries and cinnamon. Best I've ever had! There was a DJ on a Friday night which added to a great atmosphere. Its BYOB. They also offer carryout. I cannot wait to return.

Caffe Capri is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Wow! I'm an extremely picky eater and there hasn't been a single thing from this place that I don't love so far. Everything is extremely tasty and noticeably fresh. Their pasta dishes are out of this world. Pizza too! I just wish the pizzas were served in larger sizes instead of personal size as they're so good, you want more! I've only ordered delivery through Ubereats and food is always super hot and fresh. Overall, I love this place. A little pricey than others in the area but their delicious food makes it worth every penny. One of the best! You won't regret trying it
