One of the best Thai places we have been to! The red curry with duck was outstanding, crispy skin, just superb!! Also had red curry with shrimp, also excellent!! Highly recommend!! It is a BYOB in case you were wanting a cocktail, bring your own or buy beer next door. Wonderfully decorated too!!
This place is great! Don't let the location keep you from going here! Appetizer sampler was amazing and the Pho is so good! The brisket in my pho was delicious! Great atmosphere as well.
Pho-Gedaboudit!. Loved this place. Great service. Insanely clean. Ordered Beef Pho, Pad Thai, and Fresh Spring roll. All very very good. Will most def come back and try everything else on the menu. Two people eating like kings = $20
Always impressed with this place... Great food and attentive service... Not the bargain it used to be but still very reasonable.
Inexpensive but extremely flavourful Vietnamese cuisine. Their Pho (soup) is very good, summer roll is better than those in South Philly Washington Ave., rice vermicelli is awesome! Highly recommended.
While pho places abound in the city of brotherly love, its sisterly suburbs are mostly devoid. But there are a few spots… emphasis on the few. One of them is Pho Tai Nam, and we headed out there on one of the annoying rainy nights of this week to check it
Very good Vietnames and Thai combo restaurant. Both the spring roll and fried rolls as appetizers were tasty. Pho (special pho) had clean but rich flavored taste. Pad Thai had a bit stronger (saltiness) taste than usual at other restaurants but in a better way. The negative was on the sautéed eggplant with chicken which was quite watery, losing the thicke, flamed sauce that cling to the chunks for better integration of flavors. The other negative is the amount of protein in the pho -- not enough for the price, IMO. Anyway, good service and (mostly) good food makes the restaurant not quite 5 but a 4.5 star place.
This place has good service and decent food. At first I was going to say not enough food for the price but honestly I'm just surprised at paying $16 for pho :/
But the flavor is the best within a 30 minutes drive
All in all my only gripe is price
For 2 people
1 appetizer
A bobba tea
2 mains
Tip and tax came to $55 which seems high to me
I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and somehow I’ve never ventured here. Better late than never! This place is fantastic. Lots of seating to space out during covid. I ordered the summer rolls and drunken noodles with shrimp and no egg to go and my food was ready within 10 min! Sorry no pics of the summer rolls as they were devoured before getting home!
Cons: none
Pros: the food came very fast while I was sitting there waiting. The decor was very nice, hundreds or maybe even thousands of paper cranes meticulously folded by hand. The amount of food you get is insane! I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day
Great food and pretty decor. Our server recommended the Thai tea and Bubble tea, and both were very good! I got the pineapple stir fry with tofu and the vegetables were very fresh and full of flavor, not overdone or mushy.
If you're looking for authentic, quality Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place! Delicious bubble Vietnamese coffee, appetizer sampler (not pictured, ate it too fast), pineapple grilled rice, and pad Thai!
