Went today (4/11/18) & absolutely loved the food. Delicious food all around. We had the rice & beans w/pork. The pork is to die for! The piña colada was perfect, just how I wanted it. The atmosphere, the music, the cleanliness & the staff get an A+. Genesis gave us exceptional service, very attentive. Thank you we look forward to visiting again & again.
Wow...So yesterday on our way back home from NYC to Massachusetts we stopped by this Restaurant located in East Hartford, Connecticut trying find the perfect way to close our little getaway or mini vacation. I am so glad we did.
My wife and I being originally from Puerto Rico. We were looking for real-authentic Puerto Rican food, we found this place on internet. We got there around 2 o'clock in the afternoon and the atmosphere were very nice with nice Spanish Puerto Rican music.
My wife ordered camarones al ajillo con tostones and for myself a plate is called "tostones rellenos con ensalada de mariscos" but it looked more like mofongo relleno de ensalada de mariscos. It what's was amazingly delicious and to be honest that plate make me feel that I was in Puerto Rico, plus their guava sangria it was sooo good.
We did ordered (empanadillas de camarones, alcapurrias and Flan de Vanilla for takeout... We were so impressed with this Restaurant...we definitely will be coming back.

This little restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was good, not overly seasoned or under seasoned. The presentation of both the food and the restaurant itself was very beautiful and well put. The staff was very welcoming, and friendly. Our server was great, helpful and made sure to check in on us.
Inside the restaurant it was very clean and modern ,nice bar area and spacious seating.
There was also a very nice out door dining area. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to others.
From the second we walked into the restaurant we were greeted and seated immediately. Server was a true professional. Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and the Spanish music playing was on point. For a second I thought I was in Puerto Rico my Island. Food came out fast and it was so delicious.
The picture shows roast pork with crunchy skin a heafty serving with Spanish rice, side of beans and fried sweet plantains.
One of my favorite places to eat amazing Spanish food.
Food was amazing and totally worth the wait. It's made fresh to order. Reminded me of my mom's and titi's cooking. I will definitely be returning
Food was great, for the area I was pleased with how nice it was on the inside. My only complaint is the outside could use some cleaning up, but again it's the area and property management probably that never cleans up the shopping plaza.
Sweet bar and lounge room for private parties. These guys have improved since my last visit a few years ago. The place was packed for mother's day. Modest selection of beers and cocktails. Felt like home with all my Puerto Ricans enjoying the music and food. Although the wait took a while, the food and atmosphere were all worth it.
