I want to keep it a secret but I can't! Cove Hollow Tavern was a very serene spot in the chaos we call East Hampton!!! Sitting at the bar you see the horse farm and fields. As the owner Lisa "Murph" said, they wanted to turn back time to the casual country place we all used to come to the Hamptons to enjoy. The Lobster Pot is amazing. Tennessee baby back ribs, Local Heirloom Tomato salad from Balsam Farms and the Mushroom Bolognese is like crack for vegetarians. Professional fun bartenders- Clint & Rob.
Lisa & Terry Harwood nailed it!!! DELICIOUS and beautiful. A very cozy spot.

One of our best meals all week in East Hampton! Fabulous service and really really good food. We will go back!!
The best thing I had here was the firecracker shrimp. The ribs were also great. Next time I will definitely be going to get that firecracker shrimp again!
A quality establishment with great decor with an original atmosphere.
Awesome bar to sit at & the roosters tail cocktail 🍸 is fabulous.
Appetizers- Bread and butter a must get ! Pork Cracklins (Huge portion!!) were pretty fun but little bit overwhelming for one person.
The crinkle fries 🍟 are proper.
My favorite is chicken rice bowl 🍚❤️
For dessert 🍨I have given the ' French ice cream sandwich with vanilla a try, it's on point.
Very courteous and hospitable service - I highly recommend👌
Found!
Founders Terry Harwood and Lisa Murphy know how to prepare great food and their latest example is no exception. Nice to have one of their creations on the mainland (not Shelter Island)! The restaurant is small, airy and cozy. The bar is comfortable and making classic cocktails. The menu is filled with a wonderful offering of salads, fresh fish, meats, hamburgers, and vegetables. The food is served without fuss and very tasty. There is a large offering of desserts if you still have room. This is a great addition to the dining options of the Hamptons!

This place is wonderful, the attendants are extremely attentive and make sure that everything is perfect for your experience, I highly recommend it!
I had a wonderful dinner here taking advantage of their outdoor patio & social distancing precautions.
There is a great local beer list, and some great cocktails as well. I really enjoyed the Caracas which they describe as a rum Negroni; it was awesome.
This is a great place for vegetarian diets as well. The mushroom bolongese pasta was fantastic. The petite filet mignon was also cooked well and had a great mushroom sauce. The bbq dry rubbed fries are also crazy good. Would love to visit Cove Hollow again one day.
What an incredible meal!! The rock shrimp appetizer was delicious and the seafood over linguini was perfection!!
Topped off with a Woodford Reserve Manhatten in the perfect glass, garnished with bourbon soaked cherries. Cheers 🍸
Food was incredible and the atmosphere was so quiet and serene. Loved the outdoor seating. Cheesecake for dessert was to die for! Will be returning soon.
My partner Alex and I don't eat out often. We're broke college students, so we typically order pizza and call it a night. However, we were on vacation, so we figured we'd live it up a little. Our server, Juan, was amazing. He took our orders and got my drink (an Old Fashioned) to me in what felt like minutes. Kudos to the bartender (wish I got their name) for the Old Fashioned, it was amazing. The food, the salmon special and a New York Strip. Came out of the kitchen in under half an hour. The chef cooked our food to perfection and it was absolutely delicious. Juan occasionally, but not oo often, came over to us to make sure everything was great. I was able to speak with the manager, Chris, before we left as I had to tell him how perfect our dinner was. Before we left, though, we were given deserts on the house. I'm unsure if this is cause I mentioned it was a celebration of my 21st birthday when I made the reservation or if it was cause we raved about the place to the manager, but the desserts were delicious! And at the end of the day, not too pricey, either. I've had more expensive dinners with smaller portion sizes that made me feel like Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. The atmosphere was great, too. Intimate and homey, but still nice. A wonderful experience all around. If we ever come back down to East Hampton, we will be sure to hit this place up again.
A top 5 dinner of my lifetime. Tremendous experience, from food to service. The ribeye special on Saturday night was probably the best steak I've eaten. The energy greens were prepared to perfection as well. Great whiskey selection and after dinner drinks. A top notch restaurant for a top notch town.
We had dinner here a few nights ago and the food was outstanding. My wife and I shared a soup that I think was the "beer and cheese" soup and it was awesome. We had dinner with my Mom and all the entree's were delicious. The only "ding" against this place is that the waiter kept referring to my Mom as "dear" and I think " ma'am" would have been more respectful / appropriate.
