My very first time coming here and I got covid and almost died , but the foods great and big portions , I recommend!!!!!!! If you have stomach issues I don't recommend the Mac and cheese even tho it's extremely good and super cheesy you were warned, but if you don't care like me get the Mac and cheese
Good food & good service. My new favorite spot for lunch. Portobello mushroom sandwich was pretty awesome 🤤. Oh and I loved the ole school R&B music playlist 🎶. ☺️
Best Margarita I’ve ever had. Ask for Joe’s special. Place seems so much cooler than what it was before. Food is 100%. Really hope it turns into another spot to bar hop in EG. Loved that I had an option for a fruit cup and it was so so soooo fresh :)

First visit as Tavern and we liked it. Bar service was a bit slow due to crowd, but food and prices were good. Sunday afternoon. 5 TVs that I counted. Good beer selection but we had bloody's, so we'll go back...
Stopped in here on a whim after another place my wife wanted to go for her birthday was closed and we’re glad we did. Whoever designed the interior did a great job, the layout, the colors the tin ceiling... great atmosphere. Waitress was great, good service. She was very friendly and she wasn’t bothering you every 30 seconds while you were trying to eat but when it came time to get a refill on a drink or you needed the check, she was right there. We tried a couple of the specialty drinks, they were very good. I ordered the flat iron steak, it was cooked perfect and there was absolutely nothing to trim off. The steak was awesome. My wife ordered three different appetizers and they were all pretty tasty. This place isn’t cheap but it’s not overly expensive either. Really good atmosphere, really good food, really good service. We will be making another visit soon. 👍🏼
Very good beer selection, awesome food. Fish and chips was great, so were the three cheese tater tots. The sauces that came with those were excellent. Have also had their cajun mac+cheese. That was a HEFTY portion and very very good. Have only come here for early dinner, so I haven't seen it at night but I imagine it gets pretty busy. Lots of space both at the bar and at table tops.
Great service, friendly staff, a super delicious meal! You could tell there was care put into this meal! Our waitress was very courteous and attentive. Prices are very reasonable I can't say enough about the freshness and the spices of the food ... they were on point! 👍🏽

Came in yesterday around 2:15pm, no reservation and we were greeted warmly and promptly seated. We were given a choice between the bar or a booth or table, we picked booth. We had the sweetest and most polite server but I didn’t get her name! But after having a tough time finding anywhere in providence (where we live) for brunch or lunch, I remembered coming here in October with a friend, and I’m so glad we ventured out of the city because we had a wonderful time, and food was delicious!!!!
