My husband and I were driving south on Transit, arguing about where to eat lunch when we saw "MEXICAN FOOD" and swerved into the parking lot real fast! We're suckers for good Mexican so we just had to try this new place. The food was great and the service was outstanding! We got the chile relleno combo and a combo with the beef crispy taco and the mahi mahi taco. Chile relleno: super cheesy, saucy and not too hot. Crispy taco: AMAZING. Mahi mahi: great fresh flavor and juicy. We will be back!
Very happy with everything. The server was awesome and the food was fresh and better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. The price was also very affordable.
Literally stumbled upon this place turning into the lot to turn around for another restaurant. I saw the MEXICAN FOOD sign and had to stop in! The menu was interesting and had several dishes that I have never tried. The food was delicious!
The chips and salsa was amazing. The guacamole was outstanding. The rice and beans fabulous. Food was fresh and seasoned perfectly--very tasty! My daughter and I loved this place and I can't wait to return to try the breakfast all day menu! The food was also reasonably priced. This is definitely a great addition to the East Amherst area.

This was a new Mexican restaurant that my friend and I decided to try. It was very authentic and tasted great. For the price that we paid, it was worth it. I hope to see this restaurant stick around for a long time because everything from the chips and salsa (homemade) to the nachos (homemade) to the burritos and tacos (homemade, again), this is the best Mexican restaurant within the Amherst boundaries
Amazing food, guacamole, chips, drinks all excellence. The staff was courteous and polite and very attending. The owner was very gracious. what a pleasant experience. In all honesty, I had fought going in there because I thought it was just going to be a takeout restaurant given the name on the front of the restaurant. Don't let that deter you. I will be back soon!
Wonderful food and staff. I think I've driven down transit a few dozen times seen the sign "Mexican Food" and never thought about stopping in to eat, and I wish I had sooner! The azteca burrito was delicious, but the salsa was the really winner. Ask to try some of the spicy salsa; it's got a good kick but not too spicy and goes great with the burritos. My wife and I will be back again soon!
My family and I went there today for the first time and it was wonderful. The service is warm, friendly and prompt. All of the food is very fresh and flavorful. They have bottles of Coke which is unique, prices are fair and I truly loved everything I had. I got the Street Tacos which come with 3 tacos so I had beef, pork and chicken and all of the meat was delicious, no fatty parts or yucky parts, all wonderfully edible. My request would be that they get some fresh jalapeños and make a spicier salsa. But we love everything hot, hot, hot so for everybody else the spice level is probably perfect. Try this place!!
Amazing Food!! Not the traditional "American Mexican", but more authentic cuisine- I had the shrimp cocktail- it was prepared the proper way, as I have had some versions that weren't as good. The Mahi-Mahi Tacos are phenomenal. Overall very good!! Service was excellent as well!! Glad to see his place in East Amherst and look forward to becoming a regular.
