Bruegger's Bagels

Update - finally returned to pick up their "yesterday bagels" and stayed for a bite to eat. They have a western brisket bagel that was well worth the $7.35 or so. The place was not at all busy and I was able to work for 40 mins before my next call. Upgraded my rating. This was another purchase driven by a "welcome to the neighborhood' coupon. A half a dozen bagels not requiring any other purchase (which is awesome!). The everything and parmesan bagels were good and fresh. We also bought coffee, which I think was just standard Caribou Coffee so nothing special. The store itself seemed rather chaotic behind the counter. It could have been that the cashier was new, but we were basically told to go to the other end of the counter and place our order there because he wasn't sure where everything was. After we did that, there's a lot of confusion as to how to complete our order and what we had ordered, seeing as he hadn't entered it in the computer and there was no receipt, etc. A little disorienting, but it would not stop me from going back.

This is an ideal location for bringing bagels to my office and everyone smiles when they see a warm bag of fresh Bruegger's. The bagels are fresh but sometimes can run out on busy mornings. This location offers lunch with expanded menu including sandwiches and soup. I am very happy with the quality for the price of Bruegger's because I can get a Ruben sandwich for about 1/2 of some places! You can see from the photo that it borders the tobacco store but there is no smell of smoke or tobacco in the Bruegger's so no worries. (Starbucks is next door on the other side)
