Cupcake Bakery

Great staff, decent food, and amazing environment. The menu is not very giving for the prices but I still love the place. I also love the outside area, brought my cat one time for lunch after her vet visit. She loved being with us as did everyone around us enjoy her company and everyone was super friendly to her. I wish they'd come back with the dessert cup though. Been waiting so long.

Waited for a while for somebody to help me with my ice cream order. Employees saw me, but Were too busy with their conversation. I finally had to tell a hostess to have somebody help me. The employee behaved like he was doing a big sacrifice by helping me. In the end, he gave us the salted brownie in place of the Nicollet pothole. :( I came back after a minute to let them know. And the girl there was a bit condescending. Long story short, will not be returning to this location. Not the first time this has happened. If this type of condescending service continues, you guys will certainly loose more loyal customers like me.

Establishment was impressive. Cinnamon roll was huge, very delicious. We purchased the cinnamon roll at end of the day and still was superb. The cream cheese was lush and the roll was perfectly coated in cinnamon. The Taylor Swift cupcake was not what we expected. It could have been better and was an average cupcake. Nothing to write home about

I visited cupcake on a Saturday late morning. I purchased two cupcakes and two macarons for about $10. The price was good and the person who assisted me was very kind. The cupcakes were good but the macrons were only okay in my opinion . The macrons were quite dry and had little filling. The two we got were also inconsistent in size of the cookies one was much smaller than the other. In addition to the macaron only being okay I am only giving three stars because I felt like the selection was lacking in options to purchase. I understand that the bakery is going through renovations and that covid has caused issues in the supply chain, but it was quite disappointing to make a trip to learn that there were only a handful of cupcake flavors available on a Saturday morning. I would definitely go back to try again though. I’ve previously (years ago) visited their university location on a weekly basis when they were still open as an undergraduate student and loved being able to see their wide selection of in stock cupcakes and I was expecting the same selection at this larger location but it didn’t live up to my memories. I’ll definitely try visiting again to see if my favorite flavors of cupcakes are back in rotation.
