If you're looking for a humbling experience, this the place! When the line is out the door, you know its worth the wait, and it was! It was my first time and I noticed everyone already knew what they wanted and how to order, I learned fast. The lady on the grill is a legend. Just pay a visit and enjoy the authentic experience and simple, yet delicious food. Reminds me of my childhood.

Another hidden gem in Durham. Great southern style breakfast made fresh, by an excellent staff. After two visits or so they even start to remember your order and how you like your food cooked. Nothing fancy or updated as far as store design, but has the Sunday breakfast at Grandma's house feel. Plus the reasonable price will keep you coming back.

Type of place that doesn't like outsiders. They very clearly prefer to serve folks who've been coming for years and know the menu by heart and just how THEY want you to order. Cheap, tasty breakfast. I wouldn't recommend eating inside as it might spoil your appetite. Know what you want before you go so they don't yell at you and you're good to go. Also, bad reviews could never hurt them cause their customers are for-lifers.
