Looking for an awesome sub? You need to visit American Hero Restaurant!
The subs are made with care and fresh ingredients. Meats and cheeses are sliced specifically for your sub, not cut ahead of time and stored. Bread is super fresh and tasty. It wouldn't surprise me if the bread is made daily in store.
I ordered the ham, salami, and cheeses sub today. It was a tough decision because everything sounded so good.
Subs are a good size! I got a "regular" sub and cities only way half of it. That's good because I can't wait to have the leftovers.
This is definitely a family-run business and they care for their customers. Today is the day before father's day - the staff was wishing fathers Happy Father's Day. That was a nice touch.
I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious food!!

Not what I expected. Service was friendly and fine. Ordered a Reuben and Corned beef with melted Swiss cheese, both of which were made in a microwave, on a sub roll. The corned beef was awful tasting and unlike the fresh, grainy corned beef I'm used to. Needless to say, I threw the sandwich in the garbage after two bites.

I always enjoy American Hero! The sandwich, pineapple cake, and red Kool-aid was delicious! They're a staple of the community. They survived a fire years ago by the grace of God!

I stopped in here for lunch Saturday afternoon on the way home. The restaurant is older style but there's lots of space in the floor area and they had several arcade games along the wall that people could play and many of them were old school. It was neat to watch them cut the bread and make my sub and the bread was quite delicious. This is a very simple restaurant, but great for a quick bite to eat and a delicious sandwich. The prices are comparable with Subway, the staff was quick and friendly to deal with and the restaurant seemed fairly clean. Arabic

This place has a friendly staff and great sandwiches. Very similar to Jersey Mike's, if that place was a family own restaurant instead of a franchise. The sandwiches are large enough for the very hungry, coming in two sizes; 8inches and 16 inches. It doesn't hurt that they're delicious as well. Also they have arcade games which is always plus in my book.

This is a giant sub. If you want to feed a small family, this is all you need. Or if you’re really hungry, like me, this will do the trick. I try to stop by places that I loved growing up, whenever I come back home. Still family owned, still great people and great subs.

This place has good sandwiches. However the place can use a updated it looks like it needs some cleaning in there with all the money they make with these sandwiches. Why can't they make this place look a little better.
