Golden Corral

I was an assistant manager here, when I quit I chose not to write an angry review. Instead I am here to tell you all the behind the scenes of Golden Corral. This one in particular has some of the best kitchen staff you will meet. The food is actually pretty great compared to other Golden Corrals, however that kitchen staff is very much underpaid! Then we have the cashiers and servers, when I worked there as assistant managers I made sure our cashiers worked hard, the servers as well worked very hard. Again, underpaid staff here as well (when I was there). Customers should take note to be a lot more kind to these people, they deal with a lot of racist, angry, and hateful people. As much as I do not love to here how a manager has spoken about me :) , I will leave a great review for the employees! This place (when I was there) always cleaned throughly and cooked food correctly. I wish Butch, Miguel, Vidal and even Erica :) the best of luck. Can’t wait to visit again !! -This is a review of when I was working there, I can not account for anything that has happened since I’ve left. However I was very truthful in my writing.

No chicken legs 😢, out of hot buttered rolls 😫, sweet tea, not sweet, hamburgers must have been plant, meatless based. Mashed potatoes was excellent, beef and potatoes entrée wasn't very good, beef was full of fat and the red potatoes were tasteless, no kind of flavor whatsoever. Bread machine was down, but when I finally found some hot buttered rolls, they were excellent 👌 😋 👍. The price was very reasonable, so I'm giving them 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐, instead of 2 stars ⭐⭐.

Rogelio Perez took over as our server last night, after a female co-worker, who was ready to go hone rudely handed off our table to him. Mr. Perez went above and beyond to get what we needed and even went to the other end of the restaurant to get more sweet tea for us after we were told by the female server that there was no more Mr. Perez did an amazing job serving us, with a smile on his face, at the end of a long day. There should be more employees like him. He turned a bad service experience into an excellent one. Thank you Mr.. Perez :)
