The food was great but the service was better! Our server, Tish if I remember correctly, was super friendly and efficient. She answered out questions quickly and made suggestions when asked. She was terrific! The shrimp & grits was phenomenal, as were the chicken and waffles. The salmon cakes were also delicious. The portion sizes were very generous. We took our leftovers home and had them for breakfast the following day, and the food was great even then. I got unsweetened tea and it was easily the best I've had in North Carolina. I can't wait to go back!

I visited this restaurant for breakfast for the first time after seeing lots of friends posting about it online. I had been in the area many times but never stopped. I tried the pancakes, waffles, eggs, turkey sausage and "cajun" grits. I must say everything was very good. The portion sizes will fill you up. I give 5 stars to the Cajun Grits! They we're delicious. I will definitely be heading back to try everything else in the menu.

Staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing! The hot honey wings and salmon cakes were both great options to go with the best French toast I've had in awhile.

Nice hidden gem. We came down to Durham for a track meet and someone told us to try this place. I think the restaurant is near a University due to the large amount of college students. Food was nicely seasoned. SALMON CAKE Superb . Shrimp and grits delicious. Strawberry lemonade homemade excellent!!! Service was quick and made to order!!!

The food is incredible! The wings were crispy and fresh, french toast fluffy and sweet, the mac and cheese taste homemade, and the pancakes are huge! Prices are reasonable and the service was wonderful.

My first time. I ordered the waffle, eggs with cheese, turkey sausage and cajun grits. They have a good variety of choices on the menu.

Whether dine in or take out I've never had a bad experience here(except the disappointment felt when they're closed for a private event) Try the French toast or shrimp and grits you won't be disappointed. I've moved to Raleigh and I still make it to get my fix from here at least once a month.

I ordered as part of Offline Durham. I ordered the french toast combo. The french toast is delicious. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of bacon. I also selected to add fresh strawberries to french toast and didn't receive them. I didn't check before I left so this was bummer.
