An amazing hotel, built in 1887 in the grand style. The current owner is Fourth generation of the second family to own the property. The furniture is original to the time and the wallpapers are all handpainted, also in the style of the period. The food in the Saloon is good and the servings are nicely sized. With tax and tip a half sandwich with soup and salad times two and drinks came to about $37. The wait staff were attentive without hovering and we enjoyed our meal!

Very welcoming atmosphere. Great staff. Food was excellent, especially the chicken pot pie. Menu felt a little all over the place, would be nice to match menu with the ambiance.

What an awesome experience! Super friendly staff, great appetizers (fried calamari and shrimp cocktail), excellent bloody marys, and fantastic atmosphere. The piano is from 1902 I think it was? There are no actual saloon doors, but the entertainment made up for that. Highly recommend visiting when Adam Swanson is playing!!

It depends on what you are looking for and what you enjoy. It is a dark room and very loud. It has the charm of an old saloon with a live "old-time" piano player. I had the pot roast and my husband had salmon on fettuccine. Both were quite good. The gin martini was served in a small champagne glass with little gin and a lot of olive juice. The Moscow Mule was mainly sugar. Both were undrinkable. It seems like a place to drink beer. The staff were very pleasant.

An entertaining and delicious meal served in an almost surreal setting, expertly curated. If you visit Durango, highly recommend. Possibly the best key lime pie I have ever had. Afterwards, walk through the hotel lobby. Just a fantastic place.

My friend and I had dinner at the Diamond Belle. My steak was fantastic, but her smoked salmon pasta was not. She said it was drowning in garlic and inedible. However, I think you go to a place like this for the atmosphere, not the food. It has a certain Old West charm and a ragtime piano player. So I'd recommend getting a steak or just drinks here while soaking in your surroundings.
