I live a hour and a half away but I drive here at least 3 times a month to dine in or take out; normally breakfast. I was hooked on their delicious food the first time. Western omelets is my favourite and everyone is very friendly. I brag about it to everyone. Home cooked, soulful good eating.

Stopped on our way traveling on 95 and didn’t want a franchise meal. Was pure southern fabulousness, super cheap, and everyone was so nice. Great home made food with real ingredients, would definitely go again if you’re in the area.

The food was Good home cooking! Friendly Staff!! Good price! Good Tea!! Still wanting to try the Good Brakfast I've been told about from others who live here. I enjoyed my visit & the food!!

I can speak very highly of the breakfast!! We enjoyed grits, smoked sausage, and liver pudding to name a few, but if you were looking for something else, they probably had that, too! The locals are well-known by the friendly owner and staff. I hope to visit again soon!!

Keep trying them, but just not hitting it. The hamburger steak was thin, either poor beef or fillers. Had a taste similar to corn beef hash (?)
I know the locals love it. And always a couple of tables filled with folks that hang out all day and rotate in and out. Lol

nice local place. portions are large and cooked to order, so they come out fresh. Food was very tasty, just like homemade. Service was fast and friendly. They work as a team so you always get a different server.

Food was great and priced reasonably. Just wish they advertised better, I've lived in dunn for 7 years and had no idea this hidden gem existed

Came in for breakfast with a friend of mine and all I can say is that the food is decent but it lacks flavor, which was disappointing for a country grill. I got the pork chop breakfast tray and it tasted as if it was only breaded with flour with no seasoning. I had to dash it with a bunch of salt ,pepper and hot sauce. Other than that the portion sizes are pretty good for there prices. My advice is to get a good season breader for your chops.
