Sonic Drive-in

I visited twice last weekend. In the first visit we had a very large order for 8 people. It did take a while for the staff to prepare the order, as might be expected. It was quite a busy night and there were only a few people on staff. I heard people in cars around us complaining about the wait. The car next to us even left before receiving their order which, as it was brought out right after they left, looked quite large as well. Our order was missing two sandwiches which wasn't ideal but, again, it was a large order and they were very busy. Despite what was clearly a stressful night, Hollee was all smiles and very polite when she came to the car to deliver our order. The second time we got drinks (which, to be honest, is the #1 reason I visit Sonic when visiting Dunlap from Canada) and they were well made and quite delicious. Again, Hollee delivered the drinks with a smile despite, again, what seemed to be abuse from other customers ringing in the background. I don't know the staffing issues but people have told me that this location has a lot of trouble attracting workers They serve with a smile and seem to be doing their best.

Have had multiple bad experiences here. This time I ordered a single medium milkshake. After waiting for 20 minutes I asked the worker that took my order when I was going to get my milkshake. He said that the milkshake was ready on a tray and the carhop just had to take it out to me. He also apologized and said the wait was due to them having only one carhop. Well after waiting for over an hour for a single milkshake and watching 5-6 cars around me receive full meals, I left. Is it that much trouble to hand me a milkshake? I won't be back, and I wouldn't reccomend anyone visits this Sonic. Take your business elsewhere.
