Pizza King

We chose Pizza King while visiting the area based off other reviews and they did not disappoint. We got jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, buffalo chicken pizza and a pepperoni pizza. It was all delicious and the pizza was 2 for 1! The staff is polite and friendly. I wish there is one where we live so we could enjoy them again.

Went there last night and while ordering the lady taking my order yelled at me when I told her I didn't want mushrooms on the Italian chopped steak. She stated it didn't have them that I was trying to order a sub and I told her nicely that I was trying to order the Italian chopped steak dinner. Got the food and it had mushrooms on it.... been going here for 14 years but I won't be going back. There are plenty of places around that I can go and won't be treated poorly. Especially when I'm spending $60 of my hard earned money also. They should consider how they treat people.

I have had the Patty Melt and a lemon cake from this restaurant on a previous occasion which I found to be very yummy. Last weekend we ordered for a fairly large group. I ordered the Grecian chicken. I did not receive rice which I understand is supposed to come with that meal (Probably just as well as I later found out that their rice contains corn and I'm allergic - my fault for assuming that yellow rice would be saffron rice). I got ranch dressing with the salad and found it quite watery. The tzatziki did not have the flavor that I'm used to (it tasted pretty much like flat greek yogurt). The salad was really nice, fresh and well made and would have been wonderful with a different dressing and the chicken could have used more seasoning but was okay. I'll go back but I'm sticking with the Patty Melt.

Customer service is VERY POOR! We try to always support local businesses, but after this experience we will be taking our business elsewhere. We called in and order 2 Large PEPPERONI pizzas for pick up. Go down to pick them up and they had given us cheese pizzas, we politely let them know of their mistake and asked them to correct it. They wanted to put pepperoni on top of the pizzas they had given us, instead of cooking it on the pizza. We told them we didn’t mind waiting for them to remake the pizzas and things turned ugly, they were rude and said we were calling attention to ourselves. The manager Kim needs serious training in customer service as she was rude and did not help the transaction at all, she even told us to go to Dominos - which we gladly will from now on, at least they were respectful and accept their mistakes when they make one and correct it. We finally asked for a refund to just be done with the situation and when she gave us the refund she didn’t even give us the correct amount - she shorted us. We left and will absolutely not be back! I hope they take this as a lesson to train their employees on how to correctly handle their mistakes and how to talk to people.
