I was passing thru on the way to New York with family and we stopped here. The food was so good. We got eggs hashbrowns omelet a breakfast wrap and pancakes. All of it was amazing the pancakes were the best I've had. The coffee was a blessing after a string of bad gas station coffee. They were so sweet to us when we ordered iced tea and we didn't like it because it had raspberry in it. Were from Texas and it's not how we do tea. All and all if your passing by stop in the amazingly friendly staff and small hometown feel will warm you up. The portions will stuff your belly.

If you’re looking for a low budget, friendly, cozy diner, Central Station Restaurant in Dunkirk, NY is absolutely worth checking out and experiencing for yourself. With excellent staff and service, you won’t be surprised they remember you when you come back for seconds. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted as soon as you walk through the door. On the occasion when the diner is running at max capacity, you won’t have to wait long. They will surely make space for you at the drop of a hat. Even though you will have one main waitress/waiter, you will likely be served by multiple people. They share responsibility all throughout the restaurant to ensure that everyone is receiving adequate service. Turning your eyes to the menu, you will see that there is plenty of variety, yet not too much variety where you can become overwhelmed. How much choice does one really want, eh? After deciding upon the dish of your desire, your food will be procured with the utmost care from very skilled chefs. This is an excellent time to enjoy the company of your fellow diner go-er/go-ers. Not too short, yet not too long after, you will pleasantly find a wonderfully prepared meal right in front of you for the taking. The portions are great and will likely leave with leftovers for later. It’s hard to find a restaurant that combines excellent service with outstanding and consistent food. Central Station Restaurant has it all.

Originally came because the other restaurant a block away was packed. Im glad I did come here. The food was really good. I ordered breakfast food. Im not a fan of bacon, and I dont know what kind of bacon they use ... but it was crisp and perfect. I devoured it. The potatoes were perfect-not burnt or overcooked. The pancakes were huge! It's very filling, and it tasted good, too. I will definitely be back again

Central Station has everything you'd expect from a neighborhood diner: abundant selection, reasonable prices, generous portions and a welcoming staff. Our group of five ordered off the Sunday Specials menu for our sister's birthday brunch. Everything from the peach compote pancakes to the smoked salmon omelet was exceptional. Service was fast and the food was hot and delish!

I really enjoyed my chicken souvlaki grilled pita sandwich. I LOVED that the tzatziki sauce was in a separate container with a lid…so I could give it to my mom. I also loved the option of getting green apple slices with it instead of chips. The iced tea didn’t taste like tea at all to me. There’s only street parking, so patrons may have to walk.

All the food we had was great- and the prices are incredibly reasonable! (They even had beer and cider bottles for $3.75-$4.50) Sweet potato fries are a must! Reccomend stopping in whether you're a local or on the road through Dunkirk. Service is cordial and efficient, and we really enjoyed our meal!

The Google location is correct. We ended up doing a lap around the block because we just did not see it the first time and we were looking for it. Once inside I found a clean, inviting local diner with some obvious locals enjoying their lunches. The food was very well prepared. I had the Chiavetta's marinated chicken wrap. Excellent. There is outdoor seating alongside the building and I am sure it would be very nice in warmer weather during the summer. I will definitely return to try more from the menu.

TL;DR: delicious food with even better service! Prices are extremely reasonable too. I came in for lunch as I was in town. The facilities were extremely clean and I was greeted with a smile. Carmen was my server, she was so sweet and gave me good recommendations. I got the special: cheddar bacon burger with waffle fries (Carmen recommended the waffle fries as do I). Food came out within 10-15 minutes of ordering, food is served with two (I expected slices but I'm not complaining) pickle wedges. The food was great, nothing undercooked and everything went well together great. The burger only cost $9 and I probably would've paid at least 12-15 for it, plus it comes on grilled sourdough! The waffle fries were fried to perfection, crispy and seasoning in every bite. I would come here again, she says they have a great Friday fish fry that I want to try next time I'm out here!
