I liked it. I had there butter garlic broiled fish. The food tasted good and the side were also good. It's little more up scale than your Typical restaurant. But I wouldn't consider it high end.

Manning’s was one of the first places we tried after not dining out for over a year. I know I remembered the place fondly but it was better than that, it was great. I’m not just saying that because we missed eating out, the food and service were tops. Better and bigger servings than precovid, and delicious. My salad with salmon and mushrooms was the best salad I’ve had in decades. My husband’s veal parmigiana was delicious and big enough to feed him for three days. Service was wonderful too

A fun night after a long drive. Well worth the drive from hotel. We always try to find the independent restaurants. Calamari was very good as were our steaks, mash potatoes, chili, salad and peanutbutter pie. The Makers Mark Old Fashions were great too. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

We stumbled upon this little gem during our annual wine trail trip. We came in shortly before closing but they happily accommodated us with friendly and efficient service and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely return

5 Star food, didn’t know what to expect while we were traveling through the Dunkirk area. We were really surprised by how great the food was! Shrimp & scallop scampi was on point! Kudos to the chef! You need paid more!

Great atmosphere, Friendly servers. Most of all Great food. We had a party of 5 and all were very satisfied. First time my 7 year old Grandson ate everything and even had dessert. Lemon cake yummy.

We don't go here enough. It's a gem- great food @ reasonable prices. Tonight I had what I believe was the best clam chowder I've ever tasted!! They even made me two pretty "mocktails" of their own creation because I'm 9mo pregnant.

Man, this place was *packed* this past weekend - I've never seen the lot that full... ever! Encouragingly, the kitchen didn't seem to be notably slower (although we did have some good conversation going.) If you're planning to dine there on the weekend, be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, if possible.
After we had been chatting for a bit, our waitress came over and apologized, informing us that the baked french onion soup that we ordered was accidentally dropped; she insisted on comping a round of drinks for our table of four. I was impressed by this -- I expect most kitchens would just come out and apologize an mention how busy they are. Well done, Fireside.
Without the dropped soup, I wouldn't have said that there was any real delay due to how packed they were - a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent across the board, and I will almost certainly be back for their prime rib special again.
If you've heard that it's very loud in there, be aware that as of about 2 years ago (I'd guess) they've re-carpeted the place, and it has eliminated that issue. Even with a full restaurant and bar, the noise levels weren't an issue.
This is one of the nicer places in the area, and can be counted on when you want a good meal. Prices are in line with what you'd expect (for example, I think it was 26 or 27 for the prime rib special, which was very substantial.)

It was a Sunday. We are from Buffalo. Planned to meet dear friends of our from Erie 1/2 way for a dinner get together. Nothing else was open. Tried the Fireside Manor. Found it to be rather wonderful. Sat at a table in front of the fire. Our server was polite, attentive, explained the menu well, and accommodating. The food was very good. Portions were large, so we split dishes, which they accommodated, and we still ended up with left overs to take home. We highly recommend this restaurant, and will look forward to returning.
