Subway

My family and I came in at 8:11pm tonight (Friday 4/15/22). After ordering 3 of 5 sub combos, we were told that we COULDN’T dine-in because they close at 9:00 and they needed time to clean-up and close-out the registers so they COULD LEAVE at 9:00. So, 2 of us decided not to eat Subway but go next door to Panda Hibachi where we were welcomed to dine-in but took it to-go since the other 3 with us HAD to take their Subway to-go. When I worked in a restaurant in the early ‘90’s for a few years, we also closed at 9:00 pm on Friday nights. BUT, 9:00 meant 9:00 back then, not 45 minutes early so the workers could get off at exactly 9:00. Back then, if 30 people walked in to the restaurant at 8:59, they were served and welcomed to dine-in, because we DIDN’T CLOSE UNTIL 9:00. We were lucky to get out of the restaurant by midnight because we didn’t start cleaning until every customer was out of the restaurant. The way it is supposed to be! Just so y’all know, WE WON’T BE BACK!

May be the worst Subway experience ever. The only positive thing was the young man who made my sandwich was polite. Since there was no inside dining, I had to take my meal to go. My sub had a Clorox taste. I threw it away. I got a diet soda and it tasted like Cherry Coke. On the way out, i noticed all the tables and chairs were piled up and trash was visible under and around them. I will go next door to Publix for my next sub.

We ordered 2 combo meals through the subway app for delivery. The sandwiches showed up in a reasonable amount of time. No drinks,no chips, no cookies. After 10 phone calls someone finally picked up the phone and said they can't do anything because it was through door dash. The manager was less than polite or helpful. She keeps saying there is nothing she can do. Way to much work for a couple drinks and chips. 100% do not order delivery from them.

I went today to eat. And when I told him the toppings I wanted on my sandwich , he took one of the toppings to the back of the store , then he came to the front and put the topping on the sandwich. Then he went to the back again because he was missing his tools. When we was going to pay he asked if I wanted drinks, I said yes. He put his hands inside the top of the cups when he handed it to me. I wanted to get some tea and they had zero tea no sweet or unsweetened. They had it closed down so they can hurry up and leave.

Very disappointing. Staff stayed hidden behind the wall. Asked for my bread to be toasted when she removed it from the cooker she had toasted the top of the bread because she didn’t open it before she placed it in the toaster oven so she had to toast it again which made the bread very hard and fall apart when I tried to eat it. No condiments were available and when I asked for some they didn’t have any. Had to say excuse me more that twice just to get someone’s attention. Needs to do better with customer service.

Employees were friendly and helpful. Even when someone came in and got angry that they could not get a discount on their online order because they had a keychain thing. They employees when out of their way to help her evenneven de-escalated the situation. She insisted on speaking with a manager and stomped out when told she could see one tomorrow morning. The employees continued to serve the other people. You could tell the woman's attitude affected them but they did not let it affect their service, integrity, or attitude towards other. Excellent examples of wonderful employees even under stress. Will definitely be back!!!
