I went to this location for the first time last night.
The owner was there and very nice as I took photos for my review. Lol
The chicken and hush puppies were fresh and hot.
The cashier was nice and the restaurant clean.
I personally didn’t like the breading used but my kids will enjoy the chicken either way.

Not only was my chicken cold, and torn as if they were leftover, bitten into pieces, I have a curly, brown hair cooked into my okra. The MOD said I'd have to bring the order back for them to replace it, which was not an option after a 13 hour day. I tossed it out, and made me some soup, hair free!

Literally addicted to the sweet tea and mini poppers. Especially since the tea is only 1$ They closed down for a bit due to not having enough staff and i was very upset because they're one of my favorite places to go but luckily they have opened up the driveway again! Nice employees trying their hardest.

Chicken Express supplied my family reunion with Chicken tenders and the manager was so kind, helpful, and it was ready when he said it would be ready. Thank you Chicken Express for being on top of things. I really appreciate your promptness. The manager even called me when my daughter drove off without the gravy and had to turn around and go back and get it. He was a real big help in getting what we needed.

They would have gotten 4stars if they had gotten the order rgt. We were the only ones there and I ask for wings and legs. We got legs and some giant thighs, ask for honey, no honey! We also ordered 4 corn on the cob, 3 corns were pipping hot but the 4th one was literally frozen!!
We were out of town and got it to go, and yes we should have checked it. But we were the only ones there, how can you mess that up!! 🙄🙄☹️☹️🥴🥴

I used to work here 6 years ago when I was younger. The price of a #2 with tax was 10.86.
I just paid 15.21 with tax for the same thing. Thats a 40% increase in less than 6 years. 15 dollars for 7 chicken tenders, 3 cheese sticks, and a drink is way too much.
I used to make 8.25 an hour while working there. They almost hired my friends kid for 8.50 an hour last week, so its not going to the employees.

Excellent food. Excellent service. As always, check your order once you get it because its likely there will be something missing. It just happens. They do senior discounts. If you get there on Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00pm, be prepared to wait a while. It's worth it.
