We very impressed with our food and our server was attentive. The lemonade was so good. I highly suggest the cheese curds and the wild rice sandwich. Decent prices for the quality. Would recommend for any locals or out of Towners
So back in Duluth and we went to find a place with crepes but on our way we came across Tavern on the Hill. I had ate here many many moons ago and it was really good but I forgot all about it as I usually don't make it to this part of town. Great atmosphere and service and even better food. Pictured here is the Bang Bang Bowl and the Bluestone Burger which I highly recommend. We'll be coming back again...
Dairy Allergy Friendly: The employees here really know their stuff! I was able to ask about the ingredients used and any possible cross contamination, and they were so helpful, knowledgeable, and fast to get the answer! They then verified the order to make sure that we didn't get anything we would be allergic to. **Update: We placed another delivery order today, and the waitress actually called me back because the cook noticed a possible cross contamination issue with our food (fries and cheese curds share the same fryer). The staff here are absolutely fantastic!
The food was absolutely fantastic! The employee was really friendly and helpful when I ordered over the phone. We have a dairy allergy, and she was able to work around it. Incredible experience!!!
Great appetizers! We all loved our meals. Great, friendly and quick service. I had the rueben and sweet potato fries. I want to sauce recipe for those fries! Yum.
Eat here! I was searching for a fun place to eat outside of the Canal Park area and saw some good reviews for Tavern On The Hill. I can only speak for my dish, the Thai chicken pizza on a cauliflower crust… but it was amazing! The crust was super crispy and I was convinced that they gave me a thin crust pizza instead of a cauli crust. But nope.. they had me fooled! If I lived closer I’d go back soon to try some of their other interesting menu items.
What an amazing place! Hands down some of the best cheese curds I have ever had! Pub pretzel is a must try. Perfectly bakes pretzels and a perfect portion of beer cheese. They make a perfect cosmopolitan. I definitely recommend the 50/50 burger. The staff is amazing. This place is definitely on the top of the list of best places to eat

Came in for some quick food before the kitchen closed and to get a few drinks. I got the Tavern Hawaiian pizza and it was pretty good! Definitely needed red pepper flakes which I added. Mike the bartender was amazing! I’ve come in here once while he was behind the bar before tonight, and both times he was the most friendly, fun and naturally outgoing bartender I’ve ever had at Tavern. I don’t frequent Tavern but I will be coming back to see Mike!
