New Orleans Seafood

First time dining with this establishment. I work down the street so I figured I would try them for lunch. I will not be going there again. Smells fishy when you open the door, it's not very clean in there although it's not disgustingly filthy either. The prices are really good. I ordered the fried shrimp combo for $10.99 which came with two sides and I ordered 20 muscles for $8.99. The fries were the best part of my meal. The coleslaw tasted hot and bad. The shrimp was subpar and the mussels were not fresh at all. Tarter Sauce is in packets and very runny. I will not be patronizing this establishment again. I should have just gone down the street to Fat Crab. See my review for them.

The quality has consistently gotten worse over the past few months. The corn was overcooked, the shrimp get smaller and smaller every time. I had to ask the person at the register to add more seasoning to my order because there was barely ANY. This was my go to spot for seafood, but now its time to fine a new place. ( not a fan of juicy crab either, but thats another review at another time )

I used to go here often, haven’t been in a while. Last night I ordered 3lbs of catfish and 2 pounds of talapia. That catfish had to have been old. It was tough as hell, my initial thought was it was overly fried but no it didn’t even taste like catfish. The corn was hidden under my potatoes because it was MUSH. Never again. BEWARE we must stop supporting these places that have no concern for their customers. $40 down the drain because I threw it out not even wanting to take the chance. FIND ANOTHER LOCATION
