There is street parking close by the restaurant as well as more public parking a bit if a walk. This is located across the street from downtown Duluth park. The area is really cute for a walk after/before eating! The atmosphere is very cozy upon walking in. We did have a reservation so we’re seated right away. All the staff wore masks but I would say the tables aren’t very socially distanced given the space is pretty limited inside. Asian medicine: delicious cocktail and pretty strong too. I couldn’t really taste the ginger, but could taste the lemon and a hint of the honey. Hearth Grilled Octopus: the flavor was really nice but a bit chewy for my liking. Gochujang Shrimp Scampi: loved it! Very flavorful and good sized shrimps. You can dip the bread into the sauce. Grilled Salmon: the salmon was nicely cooked and paired well with the slightly sour kimchi fried rice. When you eat the parts of the salmon with the chili sauce you can taste a hint of spiciness. Sea bass: melts in your mouth, lightly seasoned, and paired with Brussel sprouts. Cheesecake: was okay to me, I usually prefer the bottom to be more crunchy but this one was mushy. Chocolate cake: very rich in flavor. If you like chocolate you will love it! Apple tart: was a nice refresher between the other two more sweet desserts. Comes with a scoop of ice cream. Service was amazing! Super informative of the menu, great recommendations, and made sure our water was always filled. Would recommend! They are supposedly known for their raw oysters. But since we weren’t big raw or oyster eaters we skipped it this time.

We had an incredible experience celebrating my husband’s promotion. The oysters are wonderful, and both the salmon and duck entrees were delicious and complex. Highly recommend the Japanese whiskey. Also, they threw in a free dessert to help us celebrate! Must try the red velvet cheesecake! Highly recommend this restaurant for your next special occasion!

This place is a fantastic restaurant nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Duluth. Reservation was easily accessible (however not required), the staff was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was relaxing and stylish ! The seafood was fresh, and the steaks were cooked to perfection under the wood-fire grill. The oysters were incredible - Rockefeller was delicious ! The Japanese infused drink menu was amazing and the bartender made sure the drinks matched the quality of the food. Highly recommend !

Everything, from the ambiance, to the service, and of course the food, was amazing!!!! I am already planning to go back. The Asian inspired cuisine is paired wonderfully with a somewhat Western cooking style in a way that translates to blissfulness in your mouth. Just go already, I cleaned my plates and sent them to the chef. It's a fantastic experience.

Very Average. For what you’re paying, I didn’t find the dishes I ordered to be very flavorful, innovative, or satisfying. I also did not find the meat and seafood to be of the best quality or the produce to be as fresh as it should be, granted I visited the restaurant on a Sunday night, not their busiest time. Though the service was good, I was rather disappointed in the food (the small roasted octopus piece had no taste and cost $15) and I would consider the whole experience rather “ho hum.”

Excellent service, and excellent food! Though I still maintain that downtown Duluth restaurants are far overpriced for the area and portion sizes, they consistently put down some amazing flavors and dishes. Noona was no exception, with the duck risotto and kimchi salmon both easily hitting and surpassing the mark! The cocktails are great, too, so don't miss out on a fantastic taste of downtown Duluth :)
